Title: [2015-11-30] Greek Banks Asked To Pay Bitcoin Ransom Post by: tyz on November 30, 2015, 07:26:19 PM In Athens, three Greek banks have been extorted by malicious hackers for the sum of 15,000 Euros to be paid in Bitcoin by November 30, 2015. The group Armada Collective threatened these institutions with the use of a Denial of Service attack or a DDOS. With a warning to the banks, the perpetrators seemingly were able to knock out electronic services temporarily.
