Crypto currencies are decentralized, if you own coins and have keys they belong to you and none cant take it from you. Communism is highly centralized and state own pretty much everything. IDK if you know what is communism or what you are talking about but it is funny.

It's all about who controls the project. People have gotten worked up over who has rights to send news on Bitcoin. Who controls the Monero Github account or what ever. Who owns most of the coins ?
