Title: 5850 mining at 250kh/s????? Post by: mesquka on November 22, 2012, 01:44:17 PM My 5850 runs at 250kh/s while I can see other people with 400kh/s. I am using cgminer, how do I increase the hashrate? Intensity IS 20.

And 300 may not work on your particular brand/card, each is slightly different. A lot of 58xx cards fail somewhere in the 500-600 range. My 5830 would not work at 650. Crashed almost instantly every time. However, dropping it right down to 300 worked just fine, and was completely stable. Also, it does matter which coin you are mining. BTC does not need high mem speeds, but LTC does. Overclocking VRAM (a little) makes LTC mining more stable. |
