You don't need to post the exact same question twice.  You're just going to split the conversation and make it difficult to keep track of who said what where.

As I said in your other thread:

(It really depends on your individual needs and risk tolerances).

It's a bit like asking "Best vehicle for a male?"

Everyone is going to have an opinion, but those opinions will generally be based on the needs and risk tolerances of the person expressing their opinion rather than your needs an risk tolerances.

Do you trust yourself to create backups on a regular basis?  If you only need to backup once when you install the wallet, do you trust yourself to keep that one backup safe for the rest of the time that you use that wallet (that could be decades, right?). Do you trust a business to handle the bitcoins (back them up and secure them from hackers) for you?  Are you able to keep your computer free of all malware, viruses, trojans, etc? Will you only be using the wallet from home, or will you want to use it while you are out?  If you were to lose the bitcoins you are storing, would you be devastated? Are you willing to maintain a separate computer permanently offline for the purpose of singing transactions?  Will you just be storing the bitcoins long term, and not spending/sending them anywhere on a regular basis? How much hard drive space do you have free? How fast of an internet connection do you have?  Are you a patient person (Are you willing to wait a few days to a week to synchronize your wallet with the network)?  Do you want to run a fully participating node on the bitcoin network? How do you feel about address re-use, and hidden change addresses?

These are just a few of the questions you'll want to consider to choose the right wallet for you.

Here's a site I've been using to help make wallet choice decisions: https://bitcoin.org/en/choose-your-wallet

Select "Desktop", then select "Mac", and then view your options.

I hope you find this helpful!

i believe that if you will hold small amounts of money without any discussions you dont need to have a desktop wallet if i were in your shoes then i would only use an online blockchain.info wallet which does not require any knowledge for using it good luck with it

I also have a MAC and I decided to just go with an online wallet for now.  Once I collect enough coin to make it worth it, I may transfer to a hard wallet, but I do not see the need for one at this time for I have less than .005 BTC.  Does anyone agree?
