Are there any sites that exchanges bitcoin for your phone balance? Sometimes I have extra balance that would go to waste so I might as well use it to buy some bits with that.

Although there might be such a service, it might differ for different locations. I would want a service like that, where you can charge it to your phone bills instead or use the balance, any thoughts?

There's already a service like that. I do not know in your country though. Here in the Philippines, I can buy bits using my phone credits, thru Coins.ph The downside is it's almost at a 10% fee.

After playing many games, I found that most of them accept bitcoin as a form of payment, and sometimes I have extra balance on my phone to spare, so might as well use it to buy something. Any other methods to 'convert' the phone balance into other online currency (most commonly used like paypal), could also work I guess.

The site bitby.co is not done yet, but I'm looking forward to the start of it, and I hope it accepts plenty of locations too, including mine. :D

Since I'm a prepaid user, I wouldn't have much use for this. I don't topup my phone a whole lot anyway

This sounds like good thing. I'm from Serbia so I can expect this will work here for 10 year's (if we are lucky). It is good that this work somewhere already, I think there will be more and more ways how to buy bitcoins in future and I hope that will come to my country also.

Phone companies usually offer credit for free also, which would mean some free pieces of BTC.

Don't use these type of services in the first place. This is the most inefficient way of paying for goods or services. Fees are too high, usually mobile payment processor takes 10% to even 30% of total sum of money.
