Title: [2015-12-03] Converting People To Bitcoin – Verification Procedure Struggles
Post by: jdebunt on December 03, 2015, 01:02:58 PM
Many Bitcoin community members are trying to boost adoption throughout the world. However, that process has turned out to be quite difficult in some cases, especially when it comes to getting novice users to buy their first Bitcoin amount. Exchanges require document verification, and ATMs are sparsely located. Is there a good way to convert people to Bitcoin?

Just tells you how fucked the current system is. How much documentation is needed for everything. You pretty much need to give up dna samples to buy this shit. Most bitcoin atms are the way to go in my opinion, since they require less verification.

Poker sites and betting sites never had a problem with that.

I know a lot of people who don't know shit about computers and they are registered in several poker and betting sites, so it must be really simple.

The problem with adoption is bitcoin doesn't bring any benefit to average people, it's much more complex and slower than other payment methods.
