That is quite similar to the service provided by Bitpay and Coinbase.

it might be similar to bitpay, but it's completely different because it's done by a large bank. there needs to be just 1 bank to take the lead with starting rolling out bitcoin payment options. i hope larger european and us banks will follow. that would be a massive milestone.

Great move for BTC in ukraine and in general because the provider of the service is an already existing and established bank and it gives much more legitimacy for BTC as it is linked to drugs etc... for most of the people but now it's a currency a large bank accepts.

Elaborating on the new feature, Karmazin stated:

"We have already completed the testing service and traders are now looking for partners who are willing to integrate [receiving] Bitcoins in their checkout page. [Also], we [are focusing] not only within the Ukrainian market but also the European market."

i think bitcoin will be popular in ukraine  :)
