You can find a table of units here: https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Units (https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Units)
Its from the days where you could easily have 1 MBTC (1,000,000 BTC)

Just a piece of advise, you may want to print that and keep it close as a reference.  I messed up before and ended up sending someone more than what I was supposed to because I did not convert it correctly.  Just a recommendation.

100 Satoshi    = 0.00000100 ฿    = 1 Bit / μBTC (you-bit)
1,000 Satoshi    = 0.00001000 ฿
10,000 Satoshi    = 0.00010000 ฿
100,000 Satoshi    = 0.00100000 ฿    = 1 mBTC (em-bit)
1,000,000 Satoshi    = 0.01000000 ฿    = 1 cBTC (bitcent)
10,000,000 Satoshi    = 0.10000000 ฿
100,000,000 Satoshi    = 1.00000000 ฿

Also, some refer to 1 mBTC as a BTM, or "Bitmil" (easier than millibitcoin I guess). It's not as common but does still get used.

you can abbreviate with the bit suffice, so 0.001 would be 1k bit

i prefer to use satoshi or bit instead of the old metric system, it's more in theme with bitcoin

MBTC would be 1 million Bitcoin, more than anyone has.

Don't confuse with 1mBTC that is 0.001 BTC and almost everyone has

While you're technically right on what MBTC would represent, there are two flaws:

1) Satoshi is known to have more than this

2) No normal person would assume that they really meant 1 million, so contextual clues account for the misrepresentation and nullify it, thereby obviously making it mBTC regardless of if you capitalized it or not
