Looking at some of the bets out there it seems there are some really high rollers risking insane amounts of money. I just saw a thread with a guy that won 500 BTC. My question is: What is the highest bet amount ever recorded in the history of Bitcoin gambling? considering there have been Bitcoin casinos for a while now, im sure there will be some really high rolls that im not aware of.

These are some big wins on Bitcoinvideocasino, biggest one being 765 Bitcoins, won through progressive jackpot slots.

you guys forget or don't know the whale bet 7000btc per roll on just-dice, that's the story in 2013, and he rolled the probability of 96% win. that's insane

and don't forget hufflepuff on primedice won over 2k bitcoin. but no doubt 7k bitcoin worth $800k at that time in single roll was insane and sure its biggest bet and won.

yeah, never forget hufflepuff but there was a betting limit on pd, so he couldn't bet more than just-dice whale, and 7k btc must be the biggest bet in btc world, and i don't think even anyone can bet more in fiat world, afaik, bet365 allows 30k usd per bet in some sports, pretty lower than 7 k btc

I remember seeing a post about someone losing a similarly sized bet with 98% chance I think.

This one has to be the biggest bet made on any site for BTC at this moment. The ones that have been mentioned here have been overall wins  and combinations of several bets. I believe PRC had some huge bets also some time ago (I think they were around 300-400BTC)

JD has had the biggest ever bet.

I think BetKing.io (when it was pocketrocketscasino.eu) has had the second biggest (if you exclude all JD bets).
This summer we had a bet of over 1300 Bitcoin. I'm sure someone could dig up a screenshot.

Holy cow! Those are insane numbers, those whales must have been trying to broke the casino. I've read a story about one guy who tried that recently, maybe someone has a name, he was actually a real life casino gambler with the fat wallet to break plenty of them if he was in a lucky day and now he was trying his luck with bitcoin casinos. At least those were the rumours floating around.

Well i wasn't aware the player made several 7k btc bets, i'd seen only 1 bet(see pic above) from the player and it was a loss.

Are we talking about the biggest bitcoin wins here, or the biggest bet made?
That is a difference as you can win really big amount of money through progressive jackpot slots or some game like that while betting 0.2 or other quite low bet like that.

Don't forget this one (https://bitbet.us/bet/786/#b3); a 1,000 BTC bet in March 2014 when BTC was around $650 ($650k) is close in dollar value to the 7,016 BTC bet on Just-Dice when BTC was $137 ($961k).

But BTC was only around $5 at the time, so it was "only" a $25k bet.

Just-Dice used to have a large bankroll. It exceeded 60,000 BTC at one point. That allowed people to make large bets and win large amounts.

I don't think any site has even 10% of that bankroll these days, even though BTC itself is worth less now.

The biggest bet I've heard of and been given proof is the 7000 BTC gamble on Justdice. The second highest one I've seen was one by QS on primedice, profiting him 150 BTC :D

If only I had the balls to gamble again...

Do you think the rise in the value of bitcoins market has anything to do with ? As stated above those bets were made when bitcoin was $5 and now its went high to $350+ .This could be one of the reasons they don't allow such huge bank rolls.

As I understand it, PrimeDice has a maximum payout of 20 BTC (or is it 40 BTC?) but that includes your original stake, too. So there's no way to profit 150 BTC.

I played dices two days ago and guy was playin on 35 x and he won twice in half an hour. With 42 mbtc he took 1.5 btc. But that is not even close to what this guy done. Congratulations to who ever this is. I can just hope for something like this to happen to me.

Are those bets and winnings real? I mean, if a site is paying out hundreds of bitcoin that frequently, I would expect it to be very popular and well-known but atm Bitcoinvideocasino does not seem to have much presence.

I don't believe any of the big payouts from dice sites. I think all of them are for publicity/advertisement. Show me the biggest sportsbooks bets. That's real money.

This one seems like the biggest but if you look at the date, it was back in 2013 when BTC was low.

Hufflepuff had an unhashed seed due to the server vulnerability and hence he can win any bet. Hence, those wins weren't technically valid

Primedice had a maximum bet of 40BTC but it was decreased to 20BTC after hufflepuff wiped most of the bankroll. That excludes your wager AFAIK.

In terms of wager, Nakowa probably have the second or third highest wager and profit.

Oh my sweet christ, these folks are living on a different planet.  It blows my mind that people who have this much risk appetite have that much money to bet in the first place.

The biggest bet that I have ever heard is 7k Bitcoin, iirc. I never know that anyone is willing to lose hundreds of Bitcoin even though the value of Bitcoin is very low back then.
If only he/she stop at that point, he/she could be a millionaire now!

All these high winnings come from high bets. It's more likely for a player who places high bets to win rather than someone who's placing lowere bets. The higher your bets the higher the chances are of you winning the bet.

Well some people are really lucky with that high bet they just won, but the others just lose.
If I was me I just don't bet that much money to risky.
Maybe true that people do high bets they have more chances to win, but is still so risky if you lose.

That's just what I learned from my expierence and the players around me as well as online. People who place higher bets got a higher chance of winning the bet rather than someone who places a lower value of bets.

Once I was watching in real time like the user HufflePuff on PrimeDice was betting 20 BTC at a time and was winning like a madman. He won hundreds of BTC in the matter of minutes. He was cheating though, as far as I know.

I hope that people here will not take this thread as a suggestion of betting more money into slots and dice. We all agree these are insane bets and winnings but please don't be fooled by those numbers: it happens but that's rare or it's cheating!

It's funny because most often I hear the exact opposite:

  "I win my small bets but lose my big ones"...

In reality, of course, the chance of winning a bet doesn't depend on the size of the stake. Or at least, it shouldn't if the game is fair!

The chance for you to win is not depends on the amount of money gambled, it is depends on your luck.

 i truely understand what he mean. Those who tends to bet big at the start tends to profit easier den those who start with small bet. i am not talking about dice game or so. i am referring to real casino game play. i cant really say why the reasons so but with the groups of my friends who always gamble, those who gamble big at the start tends to even out, those who bet with small amount tends to loss most of the time. very hard to explain but somehow i figure a bit.

Yep it should be taken into account the fact that since BTC price fluctuates a lot, in the early days someone could have made a bet of 1 million Bitcoins and it wouldn't be impressive since back then Bitcoin was pretty much a cent of a cent of a dollar. Just-Dice has a "one in a million" chance bet, which pays out 990,000x if you win.

I think 2 people won it when playing for BTC, and 2 more won it playing for CLAM.

Not quite sure if this is the largest one if I remember there's some user from a known dice game who also did the same with a 100+ BTC too not quite sure if which one bet is larger, also it's very risky but a very profitable type of strategy.

With regards to those amounts that are being wagered, I really doubt if 50% of those bets are genuine because there is a big chance that the team behind the project
will just show that huge amount of winning just to market further their platform in short there is no genuine bet or winning that really happened.

But if there are really genuine bets that was wagered by someone then I am really curious also if what are the biggest bet or winning that really happened.

Yeah I think of this too, it was made in 2015, a 5 year old thread enough to make a new one for this topic. Anyways, I've seen a lot of big bets in the history, I'm actually jealous on how these people are just gambling what I owned or even beyond of what I owned lol. So yeah this is the biggest that I've seen, the previous that I know was only 90 btc.

Indeed, maybe that person did not read about bumping old threads especially this thread which is dead for 5 years and shouldn't have bumped. If not posting on an ann thread better create a new thread and start discussing again and only use this thread for looking up the old information.
