Title: Blockchain proposals
Post by: Huobi-USD on December 08, 2015, 08:13:04 AM
The last weekend the Scaling Bitcoin was held in Hong Kong. Many developers and academics present their proposals, for you which of those proposals are the best one and why?

Perhaps you could link to the proposals for those of us that are less clued up on what they are so we can have a look through them.

the one that lauda posted in another thread, seems good enough, but i'm not sure about every possible problems that can bring if implemented, so there should be further discussion about it

Yes, segregated witness proposal is definitely interesting. It has the potential to raise our block size limit up to 4 times without doing a hard fork. This would buy us much more time to find a good, long-term and viable solution, which will after all have to be found one day if we want to scale and grow as we all wish too!
