220v plug on a 30 amp breaker.

Need a good Pdu any suggestions?

PDUs aren't areally good or bad. They're electrical devices that all conform to the same electrical standards. The main differences are: Dumb PDU (basically a glorified power strip), metered PDU with ammeter (displays current use) networked PDU (has web interface to view info) and switched PDU (web interface + port control ie remote rebooting etc).

Get what suits you best in terms of available plugs and features.

Also look online.  I owe learning this from Phil.  But check out ebay even you would be suprised how much cheaper PDU's are 2nd hand then buying of say amazon or some store and being first owner.

You honestly can save a ton doing this.  If you want one that does entire 30 amp you easily could look and find a lot of choices on ebay.   If I knew how to use it my PDU would be a "smart" one but to be honest I have had good luck with just using in dumb mode and have left it off the network.

bought it off ebay :). and like notlist3d, I use it in Dumb mode and watch the amps even thu  it has a network plug . try to get one with a display of some kind so you can see how many amps it is using.

IF your in the US you won't find one that goes over 24  amps, max code law here!!! for a 30 amp line. you can Polly push it to 30 amps max if you disable the breakers on it, but if it is working right the breakers on it should shut down @ 24 amps or tad bit over .each bank on the one i use will go to 15 amps per bank .

Ya is a heap'o unused outlets and sorta pricey but - Tigerdirect accepts BTC and at current exchange rate, well,  :D

Depending on which type you want, I recommend talking to Finsky.

He has a couple of great models which are working for what I use them to do and he is resourceful. He has also been working with some big players and that will offer more opportunities.

I also like my whips. If you have access to cheap or free 10 gauge wire and connectors at cost you cannot beat the price :)

I have a few more cables to route, but it is also flexible, literally.

Seriously though, talk to Finsky on the PDU sources he has. The prices are great, and I don't want to mess with anything less than 50 AMPS on a PDU. It simply does not take many power supplies > miners to use that amount of amperage. Especially talking 2880s or DSP2000s.
