SWARS are Counterparty asset tokens backed by physical Star Wars cards and collectibles.


Their supply is limited to 100,000 and will decrease over time, as more token are redeemed and burned.


Each Star Wars asset is recorded on the blockchain and stored in your Counterparty wallet. You will be able to trade cards easily through Counterparty,
a platform which can be used for creating custom tokens which act as their own cryptocurrency, while still running on the Bitcoin blockchain.

Each Star Wars card asset can therefore be traded on Counterparty DEx, on our own site, or anywhere that accepts tokens (swapbots, coindaddy etc.)

Each card asset is also redeemable for a physical, authentic and authorized Star Wars card - we'll ship it to you on demand. that means you are not just trading virtual assets - you are gaining ownership of a real asset. Cards assets could increase in value not just because there is a verifiably limited supply of them recorded on the blockchain, but because they are a real collectors item.

We are integrating two Blockchain technologies, Counterparty (http://counterparty.io/) and Ascribe.io (https://www.ascribe.io/), to combine the ease of asset trading on the blockchain with providing a real collector experience - which includes the thrill of discovering a new item - uncovering and revealing new cards.


Here's how it works:

1. SWARS Tokens:

SWARS tokens are the valuable Counterparty assets that can be traded for any character asset. SWARS are powered by Counterparty and can be traded on the Counterparty DEx. Their value is derived from the fact that:
 
- They can be exchanged on 1:1 basis for any character card, regardless of the cost of that card.

- Whenever anyone makes this exchange (from SWARS to an asset card) we burn the SWARS token they've sent us, making them even more valuable by reducing supply.

Supply and distribution: there are only 100,000 SWARS tokens, with most of them to be sold during the initial token sale phase.

2. Asset Tokens:


When you purchase an asset you'll get a Counterparty asset token, such as LSKYWALKERCD, which represents 1 character card. You can retain that asset for good, as it is secured by the blockchain, publicly verifiable, and anonymous. Counterparty token are therefore very easy to collect, store, and trade.

Each asset will be issued in limited quantities and locked so no more can ever be issued of that card.

The Counterparty token will tell you the card name and type. Card asset types include:

Character assets: include base cards, inserts, foils, parallels, limited edition cards.

Hit assets: limited editions, memorabilia, vintage, and sketch cards. Their amount is limited to 300-1000 cards per asset.

Hero assets: higher value limited edition and memorabilia cards, as well as hand drawn art, autographs, and collectibles. Limited to 50-250 cards per asset.

Legend assets: are especially sought after unique or limited edition items. Limited to 1 -10 per legend item.



3. Redeem Counterparty Tokens to Reveal Actual Cards:



The Counterparty token will tell you the card name and type. To reveal the actual card, you'll have the option to redeem your Counterparty token for an ascribe.io registered item.

Whenever someone redeems their counterparty token we burn it, thus reducing supply and making the tokens more valuable.

The Ascribe record will reveal the actual card you own, based on the token you have redeemed. So if for example you redeemed a LSKYWALKERCD  you'll get a specific Luke Skywalker character card.

Your card is recorded on the blockchain so you can track, collect and easily trade it. You can also redeem it for the actual, physical card.

We are a marketplace selling only official, original items, just like eBay (and many much smaller marketplaces). The only difference is your ownership of that item is recorded on the blockchain, which makes it easy to transfer or sell your item.

How we can know that you have all this cards?

For each token you redeem you'll have a specific record of the actual card you own, no 'fractional reserve'. You'll have access to it either in person (at a major bitcoin center/embassy) or we can simply ship it to you, and then it is a transaction like any other online purchase.

Shipping for most items will be very cheap in the US ($2-$3), slightly more expensive internationally.   

But are there Jar Jar cards?

It's a nice idea, but you must show us some "proof of evidence". Spells of Genesis's project with blockchain cards and BCY (BitCrystals) are backed by their company EvergreenSoft and they are making their own cards with crypto-world theme, and that cards can be used in their games: Moonga and Spells of Genesis.

What about you? Do you have any company? Do you have any deal with Disney/Lucasfilm or their affiliates for selling their products or using their characters and themes?

As I told you it's a nice project but before to launch it as a IPO, you must proof some evidences to get our support.

Spells of Genesis is a great project. We are doing something very different.

We don't have a 'deal' with these entities. We let you collect, trade and sell real collectibles, just as many other marketplaces do, but with with ownership recorded on the Blockchain.

I don't think it's possible to show 'proof of evidence' before launch. The point of a crowdsale is to get initial funds so that the project can get off the ground. It's risky, but that's why early adopters are rewarded more than latecomers. SOG didn't have a beta till way after the token sale.

I think the risk in SWARS is smaller because you are also getting physical rewards (if I understand correctly) when you buy into the token sale. With most cryptoprojects its just the virtual tokens and a promise that they may be worth something one day. SOG cards are virtual so their value is dependent on the success of the devleoper and the game. Physical Star Wars collectibles should be worth something no matter what.

Yes, you can have physical rewards shipped to you right away - you'll receive a crypto (Counterparty) token at the end of the crowdsale. You can then trade that token on the blockchain, redeem it for an ascribe record, or redeem it for the physical collectible. Here is a more complete explanation of each option:

Although When physical items are involved, you can't completely eliminate trust unfortunately. To mitigate this, we could put up an open ended escrow with a trusted member to arbitrate any disputes.
