Post by: Tim815 on December 08, 2015, 08:54:23 PM
Hello everybody
After starting Bitcoin Core the program does not sync. I can't access to "options" nor to "help". Its not blocked by any firewall the OS is Windows7.
Thank you in advance for suggestions and help.

What do you see? What is the error? Can you post a screenshot?

Did you choose carefully between the 32 or 64 bits version ?

Like knightdk said, post a screenshot. www.tinypic.com

Just upload a screenshot to any site like imgur and post the link to it.

If you can't put a screenshot, describe what you see.

be sure to make a copy of your wallet.dat

otherwise if you reinstall bitcoin core, theres is not much other solutions you would be able to retrieve it. ( system restore...

be sure to make a copy of your wallet.dat

@OP Maybe you can have a look at the debug.log file and show us the last ~100-200 lines? You can open it if you open "run" (Win + R), enter: %APPDATA%\Bitcoin\debug.log and confirm with ok. If Windows ask which programm to use, select notepad.

Reinstalling bitcoin core does nothing to the wallet.dat. There is no reason to restore the system if we dont even know what the error is.

About what I see. Actually the surface of the program has not changed. Just as I've told, the "options" and the "help" is not active any more.
About the log. Trying to post it twice and getting an error in here. Maybe its too long ......

Use pastebin.com if it's too long. I still don't get what you mean.

Windows server/virtual server is better configure and easy to use. Do not install windows 10, it is shit operating system. (I have been Problems home and workplace)
