I'm looking for targeted advertising focused on not just Minecrafters but also older gamers (16-30).

We offer a very political server (ranging from ancaps to communists) all trying to compete and make a city in a limited and soon to be scarcity driven map. Everything done on the server is player moderated. It's anarchy and well, might makes right.

Willing to pay BTC. Also willing to make a referral plugin that will give you payouts based on how long your referrals play on the server. Looking for high quality, not volume.

Tell me what services you guys think would best work for us,

How much budget you had in mind ?
If you want an effective advertising i suggest for you to open signature campaign, it may be costly but really effective ;)

I'd like to start small with testing, if we find something effective though I'm willing to ramp it up to a couple hundred dollars worth of BTC

The only options that come to mind are banner advertising on users websites or faucets, and of course a signature campaign. Only problem with a signature campaign is it will generally cost you that 200$ in btc easy and wont get a ton of users wearing the sig at that price.

I'm surprised no one on here has anything gaming related specifically.

You should add voting system to your server(if u havent done that alreday) the u will get ranked by how many votes u get, so give rwards to vote :)

Minecraft server lists are the best advertisement for Minecraft servers. But you either have to pay for it to get to the first page or let your server members vote for the server every day and give them rewards for that.

Op, as  you already know your option are limited only to your budget. If you have enough money to start payed advertising: buy banners on various sites - minecraft related or not, arrange signature campaign on bitcointalk etc. You may want to reach minecraft fans through social media, contact some known Minecraft youtubers and offer them a deal for spotlighting your server.

I run a gaming network with decent traffic. The only downside is it's focused primarily on RPGs (and MMOs) and I'm not 100% sure how well that'd translate to Minecraft users... if you're interested, though, toss me a PM and I'll see if we can work something out.
