The only exception to that rule has been clothing, as it was previously impossible to form a proper opinion on whether or not it would be a fitting choice. Microsoft is solving that problem by combining the Xbox One with a mobile application.

The main problem with online clothing stores are you can never get the feel of the fabric on screen, and you the colours of the clothing is always wrong on screen. It's fine if you are buying a tee shirt or sweatshirts, you can't do online shop even for a pair of jeans.
