If I wanted to steal someone's data, I'd rip out the HDD and steal ALL of it, not waste time trying to search the drive while trying to remain hidden. I doubt criminals often go "I need to sit here for an hour looking for info!"

For all I know the device itself is legit, but I didnt try to buy one so I cant attest for the site itself. Again, who is going to go to someone's house with a USB drive and try exploring all their crap to find specific files, when you could spend 20s to rip the HDD out and take that so you have unlimited time?
