I find this interesting and I'd like to have one for bitcoins but the site doesn't look legit to me at all. I can't also see any reviews about the site. I would avoid them for now.

This just... uh, why would you need it? If I wanted to steal someone's data, I'd rip out the HDD and steal ALL of it, not waste time trying to search the drive while trying to remain hidden. I doubt criminals often go "I need to sit here for an hour looking for info!"

I fully agree with you...

This does not steal data, it destroys the computer[1,2]. For all I know the device itself is legit, but I didnt try to buy one so I cant attest for the site itself.

Nevermind confused with a similarly named device. See e.g. the post below.

It destroys the USB port. Again, who is going to go to someone's house with a USB drive and try exploring all their crap to find specific files, when you could spend 20s to rip the HDD out and take that so you have unlimited time? It makes no sense.

You obviously didn't read my post in the context of the thread/item*
