How would someone go about buying $4,500 of BTC? The conditions are to pay the lowest fees possible funding their trading account (to avoid outages bank wire transfer fees) and to keep their bitcoin exchange account in dollars at the bitcoin exchange provider when not trading (to avoid back and forth high fees of banks transactions).

Some requirements are that the exchange can fulfil the BTC buy/sell order quickly, be able to hold accounts in dollars, and have low transaction fees.

Any suggestions?

Thanks for the reply. I heard Dwolla holds your account for 30 days initially? That kind of sucks (what do they do earn interest on your money or lend it out or something?)

Their fees seems pretty low but it seems like too many intermediaries to go through to buy BTC. Any way to buy BTC directly from an exchange? Like is it possible to send money to like MtGox more directly? I'm kind of hesitant to let Dwolla hold my money for 30 days.

Haven't bought BTC before so don't know how long it would take to buy $4,500 of BTC.

Once your Dwolla account is funded, its $0.25 to send money.

You can fund Mt Gox through Bank wire for $25, plus any fees your bank may or may not charge.
