Title: [IDEA] Travel agency that accepts Bitcoin Post by: Elwar on November 30, 2012, 09:13:50 PM It would be quite nice to be able to go to a travel website and pay for a full vacation in Bitcoin. They could even give you a voucher for several restaurants while you are there.
Maybe even a vacation to some place like Berlin and highlight all of the places you can go and only spend Bitcoin. There are some travel, leisure and accommodation sites accepting bitcoin mentioned on Bitcoinreview (http://thebitcoinreview.com/sites.php?catid=7). There's also a well developed Bitcoin.travel (http://bitcoin.travel/) site which has listings for travel related bitcoin accepting businesses. Although I don't think it's well visited or maintained, as I can see NY Meze grill is listed on both sites and I've read somewhere that they ceased accepting bitcoin as "it didn't turned out as expected", IIRC. Shameless plug: I'm offering tourist room/apartment rental on two locations in Croatia; Crikvenica and Mandre, Pag island. Bitcoin accepted, of course. |
