I'd like to work for a Bitcoin company, but that is another topic.
Now I do wonder if there is someone who works for a Bitcoin company,
and I'd like to hear your story, how you did get into the job, why you
are the perfect person for the job and simply to hear how things can go.

just like finding any other job really.. looking at job listings applying interviewing showing off your skills and how you can help their business function, talk about all the stuff you have to offer that may not seem like job specifics.. but could be utilised to help expand the business or make it more productive.

giving examples.. this could be in the form of telling them a story about past work history. or having a portfolio or even offering to work 1 week for free so they can see you hands on demonstrating what you can bring to the business.

theres nothing special about the interview process thats any different t the fiat world.

I have always wondered if the Bitcoin companies that are up and coming are only looking for people to hire are only looking for computer scientists, website designers and marketing/business majors...

For example, I work in the health field and frequent hospitals across the area daily, though in my spare time as a hobby I like to research Bitcoin and other up and coming cryptos that are coming into the market place that innovates the cryptocurrency space.  I have always just said that there will never be an area for me in this field, since most of my education and background goes into biology and biotechnology.  For me, it just seems easier to make my pay check like normal and keep on taking a portion of that and put it into bitcoin like normal... though I have always wondered what it would be like developing certain systems that uses the block chain in biotechnology protocol.  The problem with this, is that there is such a barrier for me to enter a new space like that, so I just tend to keep researching on block chain technologies and the new ones that are being developed, as a way for me to keep formulating theories that I could use to start up my own company in a way.

In short: I think that there is still much space out there for people to get involved with cryptocurrency/cryptography and the block chain... but the way to find your niche based on your background is a lot harder if you're not in the immediately sought out for occupations that bitcoin companies look for.

What do you mean "a bitcoin company"? 

Do you mean mining?  Exchanging?  Or do you mean any company that uses or holds public exchange commodities?   

That would be interesting to know, but I imagine that getting a job at a bitcoin related company is the same as getting a job at any other company. Whatever they do is probably the same as what other companies in that same industry do, just they are doing it with Bitcoin and not fiat.

What I want to know is whether they pay in Bitcoin or in fiat.

pay negotiations are part of the interview process in the fiat or bitcoin world.

Since my goverment still not approve bitcoin as legal currency ,it means that most of my job provide local currency rather than bitcoin.
There're some view hotel or inn that accept bitcoin as their transaction

even in germany, you dont have to accept euro's. you can accept british pounds, dollars or bitcoin.. you just have to calculate a euro income to declare your tax.
so if you can find a landlord who accepts rent in bitcoin, have a local grocery store who accepts bitcoin. then you could in theory keep atleast 80% of your income as bitcoin.

the benefit i found was the income i got in 2012, was 1btc an hour.. which just by saving 1 hours income a week (2%) can easily pay a week comfortable living today. so even just a few percent locked away for rainy days is way better than having a fiat savings account/retirement fund

You will not be able to survive in Germany with pure Bitcoin payments, trust me. Bitcoin is unknown in Germany, only some nerd shops accept it by now. Same for landlords, or companies, they would make big eyes if you would ask to pay or get payment via Bitcoin, because they simply never heard about it.

I think he means any type of bitcoin related job. I for one, would love to work in a bitcoin company. I really love bitcoin and I want to learn more about it.

Isn't elwar doing just that? Surviving in Germany using only bitcoin (in Berlin I think).
He does need to sell bitcoin for euros for some of his payments though, but last I read he could live off bitcoin in Germany.

I think I have to Google the name... never heard of him/her.

i would also be wanting to know the procedure because here in my country still Bitcoin is not legally allowed and if i have to apply it then i have to go for online jobs i think , but they are only providing for software developing or web developing , other field their only not so much.

i am from accounting field so just not able to get the job online.

I wonder how companies in the USA where Bitcoin is seen as a commodity, deal with Bitcoin payment as a salary? Do they have to declare the full amount and then work out the

Capital Gains? If you decide to keep a percentage of the salary in Bitcoin, you can only get taxed on that, when you sell it to determine the gain? Things can become pretty

complex, depending on the spread and the use of those coins.  ::)

The only real way would be to tax the current value when your due for paying the captial gains. Sucks with the volatile bitcoin, but it is the same for fiat or gold holdings.

In the Netherlands you pay 30% tax over 4% expected earnings yearly. This means the tax is around 1,2% (only if you hold over 25,000 euros in total). No matter how you twist or turn, if bitcoin just rose 100% on December 30, you need to pay double the tax than if it would've risen 100% on January 1.

Salary itself is quite easy. They just take whatever percentage you owe them before paying the tax (atleast here, my employer deducts the taxes from my wages and pays the taxes for me).

Define Bitcoin company. Simply dealing with crypto?

I was a Operation Sr.Executive in Dell. When I was working there. There is nothing in the payment method with bitcoin. After I relieved my company They are paying bitcoin also as a salary. That’s good view Dell according to Bitcoin.This should effect on all the MNCs.

I don't but I really would love to.

What is your clasification about bitcoin company,  is it the company that accepted bitcoin as a payment,  the merchant that accepted bitcoin,  payment prosesor company,  bitcoin exchange,  or bitcoin cloud mining company?

It depends what you call a Bitcoin Company. In case anything representing a brand that involve somehow with Bitcoin then yes, I did some work for a company that involved to Bitcoin somehow. I did get in due to having good enough resume and being okay to be paid a small amount at start. It's different from each position base on skills each person poses and can offer to the company. There isn't any perfect persons for any job but some are more built for some jobs than the others.

i would like to but in my honest opinion i feel that most company that deal with btc cant really pay well. so the best way is actually to find a good pay job and use the $$ to convert to btc.

i would appreciate to work for one company that pay me directly in bitcoin, and maybe it is a online work, it would be a little dream that come true

but there are none as far as i know, or if there are they require high skill...

I do not work for any bitcoin company but I have a friend of mine who works in the one of the top companies. He is a chief security analyst.  do not want ay day to work for a bitcoin company because I can say I have learn the principle of how it works and that is it all. My friends says that he is always busy making sure that our coins do not get into the wrong hands. I just dont working for long hours.
