Title: [2015-12-14] Bitcoin Is More Anonymous Than We Think
Post by: tyz on December 14, 2015, 11:02:33 AM
Just recently a new hunt for Satoshi Nakamoto had come back to life. Many mysteries of the digital currency’s path had entered the public eyes especially concerning the early days of Bitcoin’s existence. Questions were asked in regards to Satoshi’s anonymity and his possible linkage with people like Craig S. Wright which brought quite a bit of new detectives to the table.

The example used in the article does not disprove the fact that bitcoin is just pseudo anonymous. If there is one part of the bitcoin is traced back to its owner, many transactions can be linked.

Why do we need to identify everyone on the Bitcoin network? You have the same kind of privacy when you use cash.... The author of that article want us to identify the early

adopters and miners... Why do we need to know that? You would simply put people's lives in danger, by exposing Bitcoin Whales. Bitcoins pseudonymity is a blessing in

disguise for these people. Let's just have some honor between gentlemen and ladies, like Satoshi suggested.

Nice read! Bitcoin should be entirely anonymous. At least the user should be able to decide whether or not to make his transactions anonymous or not.
