Title: Question about Probably Fair
Post by: ClashBit on December 15, 2015, 06:31:19 AM
Hello,

I usually play Live roulette in online casino's to avoid RNG roulettes since some of them are rigged in my opinion.

If I play a Probably fair one? Would it be more trusty than even a live roulette with a dealer? I mean can it be rigged to make me loose money?

Thanks

For me I couldnt never gamble in some casino online that doesnt have a live dealer.  I don't even play
those. Same with poker, I have friends and family that trust it but call me a skeptic. Ill stick to vegas
where I can see the ball spin lol

Provably fair as the name says should justify "the fairness" of the website .I have been betting at rollin.io Primedice etc and all this websites are very transparent when it comes to show how fair they're and hence I trust them blindly. And who  said live casinos cannot be cheating you ? I have seen live dealers setting up an entire scene for you !You'd be surprised to know what the live dealers can actually do.I suggest you to watch this video :https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TUNWSd339wQ

Yeah same here, it's what I prefer as well. I would rather see the ball roll or see someone placing the cards for me.
It's not that I don't trust them but it's what I'm most comfortable with while I'm gambling.

First, it is not probably fair, but provably fair.

The reliability of a Provably fair game depends on the how strong the provably fair system is. For instance, sites like Rollin, Primedice, Just-Dice BitDice have strong provably fair that have been checked and verified by multiple people here in the community.

It could be rigged, that is there could be an intentional flaw in how the system works, for instance, Dicebitco.in and 999dice. The former skipped rolls and the latter is suspected to rig rolls if you don't reveal the hash for every roll.

You should always stick with known trusted sites in the community. There are many. For a few dice sites, you can check http://dicesites.com/

While I do agree Rollin and PD are trustworthy, you should really verify your bets to make sure there is no intentional or unintentional bugs in the system instead of trusting them blindly. This is what "provably fair" are meant to be.

Get real man. All those gambling websites are rigged in some way. Especially the ones that say probably fair. I am trying to stop gambling, but I am addicted.

As others have already mentioned. If the provable fairness system is properly implemented then it is impossible for the casino to cheat you as it is possible to check and verify every bet made (the results can not be changed). This means it is most likely more fair than anything else that is in the gambling scene.

for me i like to play game with provably fair rather than live dealer, in live dealer we dont know whether they are really legit or they has "something"

but with provably fair, we can check the fairness from the hash seed and using third party website to check it

so my suggestion gamble with the one that can prove its provably fair game

You are wrong on this. Provably fair does not mean you cant be cheaten but it means you cant be cheaten if you verify your rolls and only if you do. If you dont then you could still be cheaten so it is alot of work to verify each roll especially if you use bot to roll
