Title: Will Electrum take over my Hard Drive Post by: Possum on December 15, 2015, 10:04:00 AM I used the Windows Bitcoin app https://bitcoin.org/en/download (https://bitcoin.org/en/download) to store send and receive my bitcoins. Now that I am on Linux I have downloaded Electrum.
I wasnt too happy with my Widows Wallet. It took forever to get up to date and used Tons of Hard drive space.. Does Electrum do the same... Thank you.. Title: Re: Will Electrum take over my Hard Drive Post by: mocacinno on December 15, 2015, 10:04:42 AM No, it will not ;D
It's a HD wallet, it won't download the full blockchain, so it'll be really small. Just remember to write down your seed words! It uses very little space compared to wallets that download the entire blockchain.
