Listing on Flippa (https://flippa.com/5852393-bitcoin-ecommerce-auction-website)

Up for sale is my website bitcoinauctions.net (http://bitcoinauctions.net/) I've been working on it with a couple developers on and off over the past two years. My interest has turned more towards gold spot trading and arbitrage, so I would like to find a new owner for the site. I have invested around 13,000 USD into the website. The website is not finished but could probably be off the ground in about 60 days after finding a knowledgeable developer.

The sale includes:

The domain name
EV SSL certificate
Full rights to source code
Transferring server access to you
PSD mockups (https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.404155196429683.1073741829.241427282702476&type=3) for a more modern UI

This does not belong to Service section, please move it to Digital goods section :)

On the other note, how was the traffic to your website ?
seems dead from the looks of it :(

It hasn't been launched because the code isn't finished yet. It will need marketing and probably some SEO

I have reviewed this site information you provided and I am trying to figure out why you are asking so much and why you have so much invested.  This seems like a lot invested for such a site.  So the question arises, since you have so much invested, were are the bugs and issues that caused you to invest so much?

I know I won't be able to sell it for what I put into it, when I started the project my specifications were very vague (my own fault) each time I made a revision my freelancer would charge me extra and the costs kept adding up. Also I had the website built on the Coinbase API, but I didn't want to pay the fees or have my funds controlled by a third-party, so I paid another dev to integrate bitcoind for me, adding an extra few thousand dollars to the cost  :P Most the other costs went to: hosting fees, legal fees, obtaining the EV SSL (far more expensive than I had planned, apparently you need a lawyer to obtain one), paying testers, SEO, and I paid a company $1000 to work on a new UI.

I'm certain I was overcharged by a few people, I don't know how many manhours in reality they put in. My reserve price on Flippa isn't anywhere near $13,000.
