Title: WTS: XBOX360 203w Power Supply (works with all fat)
Post by: majinx on December 05, 2012, 12:13:27 AM
I have a power supply that I am willing to part with now. It will work with ALL FATboy XBOX 360s.

Respond or PM with offers/questions.

My guess is that since the new ones are "slim" this must be for the older models.

Probably, just wasn't 100% sure <.<

Fat is xbox slang for all older xbox 360s that aren't the newer slim models. This power supply will not work for your 360. Sorry.
Although, it is compatible to be used with all the older 360s.

Some FPGA miners want beefy reliable 12V power supplies. I think it's 18A @ 12V. Google it on how to hack it!

Its 12v - 16.1A.

Anyway...what are you saying...try to sell the power supply to miners?

How do you figure this will fit ALL old models?  I don't like to intervene with people's sales, but I also don't like to see conflicts come out of misinformation.  Xbox's have different tips and different power requirements throughout the years.

Yours is the very oldest one.  Probably not too many Xbox's left from that era that haven't RROD by now....  You probably will have better luck selling to miners.  Might as well take it to the computer hardware section and see what happens.

Correct, Their are 3 power supplys and it is the oldest of the power supplies, but as you can tell it has largest capable output (203w). The 203w will work with all previous (150 and 175w) 360s. The xbox will only draw how much power it needs from the 203w.
The newer plugs are designed to not be able to fit 150w and 175w into 203w (of coarse), BUT only the 203w will fit into newer 360s (150w and 175w).

I had this power supply hooked up to my Falcon. As you can see from the chart you pulled, the Falcon calls for 175w.

This power supply will work with all non-slim XBOX 360s.. money back guarantee.

Thanks for the heads up though, I just was posting it here as I like to find deals and things for sale, even at places i'm not expecting it.
No Worries. Ill leave this up until it either does or doesn't sell.

Interesting.  I knew the power would work (from old to new), I just didn't think it fit the other slots.  Now I know it does.  Thanks for clarifying and sorry for intruding  :-X
