I made a deposit today, took more blocks confirmations than the other exchanges online...But thats ok, I'm used to it since a year.

I tried a shot trading today and would let a chance...Was making around 10$ USD..everything went smooth and fine for intrading.

Then I made a withdrawal...No confirmation, no txid, for about 4 hours.

No answers from tickets...They lock everyone from chat telling they dont receive their withdrawals, and on the forum support website theres some people who didnt received their withdrawals and they are waiting for now about 18 days...

18 DAYS...

Is there any people suing them or whatever ? They are destroying the crypto community by stealing the funds of people..

Yes... Indeed Cryptsy has failed to process withdrawals. You shouldn't really have taken that risk and went anyway with all the accusations right now growing on Bitcointalk and elsewhere.

i nearly fell for it too when I saw how overpriced Doge was on Cryptsy, and wanted to make some money arbitraging.

Yeah I was making about 30% profit marging with Titscoin to BTC from bittrex to cryptsy and Boom... Withdraw stolen.

Cryptsy's prices are all very very illiquid. They have been using a fractional reserve model as far as I know.

Which is what the banks are doing, basically.

I was in your shoes the other day, with the Tickets they only say they have complex system issues, but they can cancel your withdraw withing minutes.
I was able to withdraw my coins in DOGE, but took a big loss, due to the higher price difference from other exchanges. I am Done with cryptsy too.

Sorry to hear it.  Too bad you missed the multiple threads on here where everyone's been sharing their experiences, which have been very similar to yours.  Cryptsy has yet to address all of this officially yet, to the best of my knowledge, and the fact that they haven't, coupled with the loss of customer confidence means that they're probably getting ready to Gox. 

Thank you for your understanding. From one side I didnt lose much. It's more like you said, they acting now like Gox or even Gawminers, they are paycoining everyone. ( For those who are in crypto since more than a year will understand )

One of the main problems I faced into crypto was the scamS and all the greed of people around. ( myself include )

I guess there is some stuff that wont change even with time :P

At least the best decision I made into crypto was to buy the mining rigs and mine at home. ( S4 + S5 ) I think that is the best way to survive around into the cryptoworld.

To get back on topic, for those who read that post, just dont make business anymore with cryptsy and dont trust anyone that has some ''long term project''.

i abandoned cryptsy long time ago, when they started to being a dick with their slow support, despite their nice volume i dismissed them completely

now they seems like a scammer, too bad because they are still among the few exchange that were never violated

It might take about 10 days to withdraw from Cryptsy. There is no point doing arbitrage using Cryptsy and other exchanges.

yeah we seen that before. The funny part here is they allow people to deposit. But they don't allow them to withdraw. Just if they don't already know the Exchange is dead as hell.

I never had any problems. Although I only did some very low amount transfers (not even reached the 100k satoshi values) and do not use it often.

I already wrote this in another thread but i managed to withdraw a few days ago without any problems, Well it took 24hrs but i think there has always been a delay with them. Although the reason i took everything out was due to all the recent bad press.

Just send short friendly message if they can cancel your pending withdraw. Other alt coins are still able for withdraw best to take your coins out even with a small lose.

I went to withdrawal my holdings at crypties (about $75 worth of shitcoins) after reading here about the problems they were having.

I first tried to withdraw it all and was warned that I was over my daily withdraw limit. I lol'ed as it figured I made a mistake but no, tier 0 (you didnt think I would trust them with my info did ya?) gets only $25 withdraw limit a day, 100$ a month. What a joke, I wonder if they limit the deposits too, prob not.

So I reduced it to 0.05btc (22.50$), that was 3 days ago, I filed a claim today reporting the problem.

I did noticed the prices were way off from everyone else and immediately thought 'Goxxed again', and now consider those funds gone. Hopefully I will get my coins that I didn't really need (why else would I store them there) but what a bummer for those who that was all they had, or noobs just trying out cryptos for first time. Getting burned does leave a foul taste in ones mouth.

Yeah I was thinking to change my btc to another coin, then withdraw on bittrex but I dont trust them anymore so fuck it.

They answered my ticket to reactivate one of my account in like 5 minutes. It was Leah that made the call, the ''leader'' of cryptsy, but strangely, no answer about the pending withdrawal and got locked on chat. I saw a lot of people complaining on the chat about the same issue and they got ban as well.

18 days is a long time to wait for a single withdrawal. Good luck on getting your coins back.

wow what a bunch of crooks. You just cant trust any business using
bitcoin sadly. I mean nothing shocks me anymore when i hear of people
losing their coins cause companies shut down.

Maybe the only exchange you can trust is Gemini, as it is regulated. But it has not been tested by time yet.

Using bittrex since about a little more than a year, never had prob with those.

There are many trusted exchanges besides gemini too
Bitfinex is one of them, been using their servoce with no problem or anything ;)
But yeah we never know whrn they will turn into scam or similar

Now I got another somethin' somethin' to add to my list of what not to use.

I still have some coins in Cryptsy and want to take them out, so I can exchange them on another exchange. Anyone got a nice suggestion for a coin with just a small lost because ratings are terrible at the moment.

I had to purchase altcoins like DGB and ETH then transferred to BITTREX to get my BTC out of Cryptsy. Things went downhill at Cryptsy when they set up their tier system.

Might be the right time to get your coins out if you have them there. Im Teir -0- so I still have a couple more withdrawals left to go. :)

In a way this is very frustrating, and cryptsy acknowledging they have problems is somewhat comforting.

But I am not sure they give the real reason (tech issues??, really). When I withdrew my coins i had to wait a few hours (but i got a verified account). Getting verified now is a little late but you sure can try it, and see if it shortens the waiting period.

I've read quite some threads about cryptsy and yes i agree, it not safe to deposit any bitcoin or even an altcoin as long they have not resolved their issues.

Waiting so long for your money is not good, and in the worst case you can even lose it.

It is a shame. I used to trust Cryptsy a lot, now wouldn't touch to them with a 10 foot cattle prod.

Even if they sent everyone their coins today, the damage is so bad now they will never recover from this.
No exchange has issues like this, for 3+ months, unless they are outta bitcoin.

I trusted them for a long time, but seeing that have no intention to 'fix' their problem, gives no form of trust at all.

It is unbelievable why they are so arrogant. Their customers are running and they even care.
A very bad sign for the future of their exchange.

I don't know if it's arrogance so much as either 1) incompetence or 2) fear.  I'm not sure what's going on, but it's hard for me to believe they're scamming.  I don't have funds on deposit with them anymore, but I'd sure like to know what's going on and they definitely aren't keen on communicating.

My last withdraw was approved in the next working day, after around 48 hours. At least the small ones are getting approved sooner or later, but I would not dare to deposit any good amount of BTC

According to a confirmed source, who wishes to remain anonymous, the company has moved out of the building that housed its headquarters. This move was unannounced, and was discovered accidentally when our source went to the building to visit the team.

It would be best if you have a withdrawal there to cancell it and try to use some altcoins to get your money out of there.

Got last coins out today. XPM withdrawal worked for me today(3-4 mins to process).
PPC was pending for 5 days

I withdrew about a month ago. It took 2 weeks to get my coins. I am glad I withdrew early, did not have any loss.

The Cryptsy is dead now. It lost many customer's money. It was hacked in 2014 but did not tell its customers.

i didn't use cryptsy since few months ago and recently know cryptsy got hacked several days ago but they should be honest with their circumstances because so many users can't withdraw their balance and be harmed in this exchange

I'm not using it since a year ago since their verification process quite complicated
Never thought that this can happen since last year, they are the best exchanger on that time

I think the verificaiton process is just to deter the user from withdrawing the money out of their exchange.

I was not deterred by the verification process and withdraw all my coins out of the Crptsy. What a relief?
