Title: Magnesium Coin tried to hack my profile with a possible malware!
Post by: notaek on December 17, 2015, 07:32:58 AM
What happened:
I received a PM from Magnesium Coin (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=562146) asking me to test an android app made for Bitcointalk. It was malicious and by the time, I tried logging in, he got my login credentials and tried to spam every members from my PM in order to build a negative rep. Fortunately he forgot to change the password as he was busy spamming and as soon as it caught my attention, I changed my password immediately.

Nah! I ain't gonna keep your scam attempt secret. You've tried to make my reputation go bad and this isn't to be merely forgotten. I deemed it right to let everyone know about your sneaky behavior so that others might not fall in your trap once again.

BTW, how can you guarantee that you'll not try that with other members in future?

So let me get this straight.... a scam attempt isn't a scam attempt as long as you apologize after trying to scam?

Ok....  :o  ::)

Vod, please don't ruin my trust. I will not get selected by any signature campaigns. Vod please leave a neutral feedback please. I'll try to remain to be a sincere member in this forum. I promise. :'(

Please have some faith in me!

Bro, please convince Vod to remove his negative trust. I'll pay you 50% of my share from signature campaign. Please listen to me! I'm not a typical scammer. This was just another foolish mistake.

Please don't post here unnecessarily to increase your post count. I already appealed a thousand times, I won't do the same mistake twice.

There's a saying, "To Err is Human". I think this sentence has a meaning and I have done that error which I want to rectify. So please please please consider my trust. I swear I won't do the same mistake again.

This isn't expected from a trusted member. You should volunteer me such that I don't do the same mistakes again and also help me in achieving my trust back. Instead, you're just kicking me literally! :'( :'( :'(

This community will give you another chance.  We will be watching you closely and make sure you are a sincere member in the future.

In the meantime, you will have the trust that goes with the scam you pulled.

Good luck.

Wow! :o How could you expect me to convince Vod, not to give you negative trust for your heinous crime?! Well, for you, it might be a foolish mistake, but not for me!

Anyways, thank you for your offer but unfortunately I don't accept any bribes, no matter who you are. Learn to accept the consequences of your mistake and not to regret about it after you have already done so.

Why would he? You tried doing something malicious to another user in order to affect their reputation. I know that if I were in Vod's position I wouldn't even consider changing the feedback, and I'm sure that he won't.

Also, from your previous posts you seem to say that this wasn't your fault or wasn't done with malicious intent. If this is true, what happened from your side of the story?

Alright no problem. I have promised Vod that I'll be sincere from today onwards. And please stop insulting me! :'( BTW, your feedback isn't worth at all as it is in my untrusted feedback list. However I promised Vod to remove his trust if I'm able to show him that I have improved. And Euca Mobi please remove your trust rating since Vod has already given the negative rating. Thanks.

Vod is being extremely generous here, and I wouldn't even consider removing negative trust after what you did.  That was a shitty thing to do, bro and I don't think anyone here on bct should have any sort of sympathy with your need to be in a signature campaign.  Doesn't matter if you apologize, and in fact your apology smacks of manipulation.  Grow up.

Dude, stop begging to have the thread locked.
There is no way you can take back what you did. It is not possible to reverse your actions. A scam attempt like this cannot be reversed. This decision has stained your reputation and will follow you everywhere you go on this forum. Mistakes like this simply cannot be forgiven
Sorry bud, there's no going back.

You used malware/a malicious program to steal someone's password, then tried to use the account you just hacked to further spread that malware/malicious program to others. I don't see how you could be anything other then a scammer, nor do I see why anyone should ever trust you or how it would possibly be a good idea to do business with you

Glad I came across this thread as even I was about to download another user's software for beta testing. So did you do this to test your malware program and steal his account information and consider it just a mistake? The user would have lost his account and reputation which isn't a joke.

@Magnesium Coin: Please stop messaging me about my post. I can only request you to not repeat such things again and use your knowledge for something good rather than hacking accounts. What you did was blatantly WRONG (which you obviously know before coding but still you wanted to try it out) and take the feedback as a punishment. Everyone makes mistakes but the sooner you improve yourself, the better it will be for you. Don't repeat it again and instead learn from it.

Who are the "peers"? Are they also pressuring you to pay for positive trust or is this all your own idea?

If I ever got out of the game I would sell you my account and then flag the hell out of it and ask everyone I ever got positive feedback from to change it for negative feedback, and at the end I would laugh while drinking a beer

NO! NO! Never do that! I'll buy your positive trust account for 1 BTC! I'm not joking!

Mods, please unban my main account. I'll not spam anyone.. I promise . Please unban me at least after 15 or 30 days. Please don't permaban me. I beg you my life :'(

You still dont get it or take responsibility for your actions.

Your new username - "mods banned me_ Injustice"  says it all.

It was not an injustice why you were banned -

1) you attempted scam got caught and admitted it
2) you left false feedback on a lot of accounts that red flagged you
3) you spammed multiple threads
4) you have now created a new account to try and get around a ban that usually results is a permanant ban from the forum

You have already ended yourself up in permanent ban due to these facts: (I have archived them in case he deletes everything for ban evading purposes)

1. Confessed your moronic intentions => https://archive.is/mZnFR (Post #7)

2. Leaked about your future project (which might be a probable hack attempt again) => https://archive.is/8GQAv

3. Literally abusing the trust system by falsifying feedbacks as well as posting NSFW links => https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=562146

4. Abusing a member for no specific reason => https://archive.is/pW7rd

I wonder how you are begging for an unban after doing such actions! At least have some shame on yourself.

(I have managed to hack 2 members with this app on hackforums.net and was able to change the password because they were offline.)
