Mine on a desktop and be prepared to clean CPU and slap on more thermal gunk every few months. More cores = good. Crypto extensions even better! Minergate is a good option for casual miners - it's easy to switch 'Notes if you want to diversify your portfolio. For a long term, slow burn investment I would recommend Boolberry (although no Minergate unfortunately) and definitely build up some Bytecoins as well. Monero has a small but vocal following (Some would say rabid following) but the manipulation and alienation of all other alts would put me off IMHO. |
