How many BTC will make you a fiat millionaire ($) in 5 years? Why?

As I doubt bitcoin price will go totally insane in the near future I would say you will need more than 1.500 - 2.000 BTC to reach million dollars threshold.
There is probably no way that we will see price increase after the halving so it is hard to predict bitcoin price after that.

However when you look at how far bitcoin has come in the last 5 years and it's only picking up speed. Do the brakes even work? I think this one has none. ;D

I'm going to be optimistic about this one and say it's 10-25 bitcoins.

Right now, the market cap of Bitcoin is around $7 billion, which is around 10% of that of the second tier world currencies such as the Russian Ruble, Indian Rupee, and the Singapore Dollar. In an optimistic scenario, we can expect Bitcoin to catch up with these currencies, there by increasing the value by as much as 1,000%. So the exchange rate will become $4,500 per coin in 2020. That means that owning some 200 coins will make you a fiat millionaire by that time.

So this means 2021 (since we are few days before the end of the year) . I think that 100 BTC (little bit more or less) should be enough to make a millionaire assuming that we will pass by two halving block reward by that time and the price may/can reach 10k $ per BTC .

I assume bitcoin will be around 10 k till 2021 or 5 years from now so 100+ coin will be enough for you to make millionaire.
If the manupulation doesn't end in few years we can't even predict what will happen after 1 month or 1 hour like last time price goes down from 460 to 400 mark within hour.

In 5 years, the price will just about $10,000. So we need at least 100 bitcoins to make a millionaire.

Well pretty sure that would be something around 1400btc and 2200btc since on the next years currently there is nothing new into bitcoin,not a big company joining ,accepting bitcoin to their products,if that happen well sure price can go up fast,but well 5 years im expecting bitcoin being worth max 800 dollars and atleast 500 dollars.

my guess is 100 to 500 bitcoins from the options you let us choose from. 100 bitcoins may take longer than 5 years to make you a fiat millionaire, but i do think that at least 300 bitcoins will be enough to make you millionaire.

Voted 500 up, probably because I can't see enough reasons why bitcoin would appreciate in value that fast. 5 years is ages in the crypto world, but a small time-frame in the global economy. Unless massive adaption of the coin takes place, till then I can see such a massive appreciation in price.

You should ask and educate yourself what you can do to protect yourself regarding this issue and inevitable collapse which is going to come.

With a price of 5000, 1000 will give you 5 Million USD.
Means if bitcoin goes 1000% in 5 years, you will be a millionare.

1000% is a lot but in 5 years a lot can happen..

at least one old block, of the old reward, so 50 minimum, so with 10k inv alue you have half a million

otherwise you need to wait for the 10k-100k range, and sadly i don't think it's archivieable in 5 eyars

Will to be really sure that you need more than 1000 BTC, because you never can't tell what will happen the price of bitcoin.
If bitcoin price is going up and up thant I think 100 or 250 BTC would be enough. We can only see happening or not.

I would have to go with around a thousand coins could make me a millionaire in 5 years. Why because that s speculating and I can't do nothing else except speculate. More than 1000 bitcoins valued at around $1000 makes me a fiat millionaire just a small one.

Not that it would really matter I would only exchange enough to pay up my mortgage and a new car for the wife assuming that they are not accepting bitcoin. If they are I would exchange nothing.

Hard to predict (no shit), but if BTC really gains momentum among the general public and large organizations decide to adopt it, I'd say 50 Bitcoin could be enough to make one a fiat millionaire. Measured in USD or EUR ofcourse.

To be a millionaire in 5 years, I think you'll need at least 1000 bitcoins to become one. Seeing as to what bitcoin is worth today, I don't think bitcoin is able to grow in value that fast in only 5 years. I think bitcoin would at least need 10+ years to achieve this. Unless some miracle mass adaption to bitcoin will happen, which I am kinda doubting.

I think you'll need at least a 1000 bitcoins. 5 years is not that long for bitcoin to grow that fast. Even if bitcoin reaches $1000 again, a lot of people will dump. I doubt that many people would pump when bitcoin reaches 1 million.

This is a question which on itself have a value one million us dollar if founded. Because is like to find something than cannot be found. So if someone is able to find something that cannot be found that mean that him is God or an unknown being. Being God a "kind" that cannot be meets the remaining one who can found something that cannot be found is the unknown being. This being, being unknown, is very hard to be contacted but if the OP is ready to give me a reward I can try to find it (but without giving the word that will do this for sure). If found he for sure will give an exact answer about the exact amount of bitcoin needed to make millionaire someone but most of all will give undeniable facts about the why of this amount. Facts that no one in this world can give. Even if jump all the day (or even the week) only with one feet.

I agree with you there. I don't think 1 bitcoin will ever be equal to 1 million dollars. You should be okay with 500 bitcoins to become a millionaire in 5 years.
That is only if bitcoin continues to grow and has risen more in value rather than dropping and experiencing dips.

1000 is too much, no one can buy that amount in 5 year

a normal salary is $10k per year, which mean 25 btc per year, in 5 that's only 125, not to mention the increase in price that will happen in those 5 years

The only think that can happen if some one win a big amount of money thru casino or something. And yeah 1000 bitcoins is just to big where the hell will you save that kind of amount. For me I am fine with having 50 bitcoins I know I won't be millionair with it, but that is high for something aside that just fiat money.

I put more that 1000 because 5 years is a blonk of the eye. I know we've had massive jumps on less years but it will be slower to build up to the bigger numbers.

That actually depends upon the value you are willing to sell your coins at...
For example,
BTC1 = $1000, then you will need 1k BTC,
& if BTC1 = $10000, then even BTC100 would do...

If all depends upon how much time are you willing to wait in order to sell your coins higher if it ever happens, I mean if $10000 ever takes place...

500-1000BTC we do not know the price of bitcoin for the future, so 1000BTC enough to be a millionaire 8)

Gold marketcap is on the trillions of dollars.. we only need a small part of Gold owners to start putting their trust in Bitcoin to see 5 figures a coin.
I would say in the next 5 years, you would need something in the 3 figures to become a millionaire, but in the next decade, im sure people in the 21 BTC club are going to be if not millionaires near 7 figures (in dollars).

No one knows. Polls like this are 100% pointless and have been done over and over again. The correct answer is somewhere between 0 and infinity but you don't have that as an answer.

1000 Bitcoins will make you a millionaire in quite a short time possibly. But I will go for 100 Bitcoins for the very long term, and 200 Bitcoins for the medium long term.

May be in same day even 100 btc can make you millionaire, but it may happen then to have one million in Fiat no one wants from you.  ;D

To be sure you need more than 1000 dollars, because you never know what will happen with bitcoin.
But I think that 100 dollars is more than enough to have a good life.

At least 400. Suppose wethe price will be 2.5k USD (something which is possible I think), then with 400 BTC you will have 1M USD.

But if you goal is to be a millionare then try to accumulate as much as you can.

well i dont think that it would need a lot of bitcoins as the price of it will surely grow significantly in the future im hoping that it will be enough to own as much as 100 bitcoins to be able to leave your job after a few years and live only from bitcoins that would make my live much easier

Probably 1000+, if invested now. At double digit growth.  But hedge your BTCets a bit and buy some other currencies with the money as well.  My crystal ball doesnt predict prices for 5 years in the future.

I think 200 bitcoin will make you a fiat millionaire. The price will rise to $5000 in 5 years.

Let's assume we can make the 1000 again next year during or after halving.And this time at a sustainable level.
Then we would have 4 more years to reach the 5k. This would mean an average increase of 1k per year to make the 5k at the end of 2020. During this time there has to come 1 or 2 bigger waves of new users and fresh money, plus some great progress in the ecosystem otherwise this 5k will not happen I think.

IMHO in end of 2016 we will break 1500$ and then only sky is the limit so 100 BTC make you millionaire after 5 years. 10k$ will be new ATH.

More than a thousand IMO, I think BTC price will increase but it's very difficult to estimate how much exactly since it depend on offer and demand, I think BTC might be around $1000 in 5 years (just a guess) and so one million dollar for a thousand but in the same time BTC price is very volatile to predict realistically.

IMO 1,000 BTC might be enough to reach 1 million dollar in 5 years, depending on the movement of BTC price though.

I won't be as optimistic as most people here and I'll say that you'd need between 500 and 1000 coins, but more 1000 than 500. I think that price will be around 1000$ per BTC.

If I know I'd hold that much coins but we never know the future. We only predict it and most predictions come eventually wrong. I prefer to hold as much coins as it would go up but I never rely on this and continue to work harder.

A price prediction for 2020 is really hard and almosr impossible.
If we mess it up it will close to zero.
If we continue to grow as a whole new industry the value could be several thousands, probably some mid to higher 4 digits I would say.

My gut says around 400. Which if you want to grow it into that in five years you will need atleast 100 or so today in hopes that you can double it up atleast twice within the five years, through loaning or some other source of income

Just 100 BTC should suffice. If it survives for another 5 years its price will be high and fiat will inflate like crazy.

$1000 can happen in 2016. Within 5 years it may go even much higher. Some people even think we will see $3000 by 2020. Then you will get a fiat millionaire with a much lower coin count.

Are you serious? 1.000 BTC makes you a millionaire already at the laughably low 1.000 USD per BTC price. People here is conditioned by the 1.000 psychological barrier because it was the last ATH. I can't wait until we crush it again and go 4.000+ and we will do it before 5 years. I love when people's conditioned expectations get destroyed, and this time being optimistic is more realistic than being conservative.

Perhaps we may see such thing in the 2030 but in 5 years, owning 1000 btc at least is needed to be a fiat millionare.

100 is far to less. The price in 5 years has a potential of around 2k. Which would mean you would hold around 200k.

500 bitcoins on the other hand would make you a fiat millionare.

The price of Bitcoin isn't just going to shoot up like that. The price will gradually, key word gradually, rise. We can't expect ourselves to be millionaires in five years because of Bitcoin. If you invest in thousands of Bitcoin, then maybe you will become a millionaire. But there is really no telling where Bitcoin is going to go. So we can't tell you how many Bitcoins you would need.

People expect an all time high to be reached soon after the block reward halving.
If that is true, you don't need to buy thousands of bitcoins to be a millionaire.  ;)

In general people have very high expectations. It's always a good idea to look at things from a realistic point of view first. If you after that still think we'll see a certain price this year, then it's at least a well thought prediction. I have lowered my prediction for this year from a new ATH, to now $1000 as the highest price this year.

Yes. If the price rises to $3000 as predicted by some people, you only need 333 to be a dollar millionaire.

Could be 10 or it could be 100 or more.  Who knows but it is going to be a wild ride.  In the end it is all about what you are comfortable with without taking too much risk.

5 years is not that much and I doubt that bitcoin will be at a stable price where you are able to be a millionaire with only 100 bitcoins

20 should be sufficient (valued at around $50k/coin), but that works only briefly as the price will be very volatile around 2021. A better number to plan on owning may be ~100 and selling very small amounts at regular intervals once it crosses ~$10k circa early 2019. What you definitely don't want to do is keep all your coin in one exchange and attempt to sell $100k or more all at once, you'll get Goxxed.

Also, pay your taxes if you are converting to fiat. Don't keep holding much into 2021 as it will start falling again, obviously. I'd strongly consider diversifying as you sell.

Got to be atleast 200 coins. I do not see it getting into the 10k by then for sure and doubtful over 5k

you are way too optimistic i see. the higher the price will be, the weaker the order book will get. early adopters will smash through all buy walls instantly. right now a buy wall of 2000 btc is worth $900,000. at the time bitcoin is worth $10,000 per coin, the $900,000 buy wall will translate into 90 btc. early adopters with thousands of coins will have a fun time selling through everything.

I'm not saying that couldn't happen, the selling through buy walls, but aside from the increase in price, what will have changed geopolitically that would cause these same early adopters who spurned fiat to suddenly value it enough they want to hold it? Especially for the ones in the US that would likely be subject to harsh taxes on it once sold?

I guess what maybe I'm asking is, suppose I'm an early adopter that got involved in late 2010 and made my first purchase in early 2011. If I didn't sell at $10, didn't sell at $100, and didn't sell at $1,000, then at what price point am I supposed to sell, and why?

I would be great if the price went to 10000 per coin I would be happy enough with that. 100 bitcoin would be enough to see me throughout my future years

I am also going for the 500 - 1000 bitcoins option, purely based on the devaluation of the other world currencies and the instability in the world economy as predicted by some.

People would  sure to choose more  than 1000+  bitcoins on  the  poll  because   they could really assume that they would  make them  millionaire  and even more because   we  cant really predict  the price on   upcoming 5 years  on bitcoin ecosystem. If  we  just  put an example as of todays price  it  could   make  us millionaire  on  a certain amount  of  bitcoins  because  it would really  varry  on which  country do you  live.

I voted for a thousand bitcoin because it is sure to have a huge amount of btc to become a millionaire.  Plus we do not know how much or what will be the cost of one bitcoin after 5 years from now.  It could be like one bitcoin is enough to become a millionaire or worst a hundred bitcoin is not enough.

I have voted for 100-500 bitcoins but i see many people voted for over 1000BTC because it depends on currency of that particular country.
But according to currency in my country you will be a millionarie for sure even with 2-3 bitcoins specially after 5 years when price of bitcoin would be more.

I think in 5 years, the price of bitcoin would be more than 1000$ or atleast about to reach 1000$. So you have to own 1000BTC to be a fiat millionaire. 1000BTC x 1000$/BTC = 1,000,000$. My assumption might be the worst case scenario. There's also the best case scenario wherein people have embraced the concept of bitcoin, dumped their fiat, and that made the price of bitcoin pump. All of those can happen in 5 years. It's a possibility but it's very unlikely.

Me too this is my assumption that we need atleast 100-500 bitcoins in able to be millionaire with fiat and let's just think that the stable price would be $1,000 -$10,000.

This is going to make your dollar millionaire or if not just convert it to your local currency and that is going to make you millionaire in your own country.

Based on the survey as of this date, it is 1000 BTC or more. I also selected that figure since I believe in the next 5 years there will already be a substantial increase on the price of bitcoin like what happen this year alone. Everything is going to a positive way and to be honest I am more confident now than the past that my investment will give me more profit if I hold longer than 5 years.

i think 50-100 bitcoin is enough to makes me a fiat millionaire in 5 years but its depend on how much the price of bitcoin. if the price is in range $1,000 - $5,000 then i think it can makes me millionaire.

in my opinion if we want became millionaire then we need to hold btc about 500-1000 btc . because we can't accurately define the price of btc per year but according to my thinking per year sure increase of 50$ this will result in better Profit for 500-1000 btc .

If that price is reach, even at maximum of $5000, you are still half way there... I think you will need more than 100 bitcoins to be a millionaire after five years... I think for me I will need more than 1000 in five years, if the price stays the same, I am still half way and if the price reaches the price you predicted then I will have more than 1 million fiat after five years... I hope I could have atleast half of it which is very impossible...  :D

i think we need more than 1000 btc to hold in our bitcoin wallet to get profit in millions . the reason for such type of bulk holding is because we can't say surely whether how much doller per btc will increase in per year .
for example in this year it jumps about double of its price but in other previous your  conditions was different . do we need more than 1000 btc .

Anything above the 1000 range would be the safe bet, because 5 years from now, it is hard to tell at what price bitcoin will be. If ever it reaches the $3000 range within that span of time, your bitcoin will net a you a cool $3M. Whether bitcoin hits that price by that time is another story since 5 years is a relatively short period of time.

In five years? I'd say at least 1.5K btc. Maybe a little more to pay taxes since you want to convert it to become a fiat millionaire.

As others said, I also need atleast 1000 bitcoin to be a millionaire in five years, there could be a good increase in price but I still prefer to have atleast 1000, who knows price might stay the same, atleast I am not too far from having a $1million in five years. Sad to say I can't make 1000 bitcoin in five years, not even 1/8 of it.

I bet for the price to reach between 1000 to  2000$ in the next five years. so I think 500 - 1000 BTC is enough to make me a millionaire. The question is if we can collect and hold that much in the next 5 years. It is near to impossible to me, but I think others can do it.

Well here in my country 60 to 100 btc is enough to hold for a long time because bitcoin price here are gold it is high enough and 80 btc yo u have 2 million already so if the price will increase more not only 2millioin plus you will get i think 5 million if we are lucky to hit even 1200 usd price..

I will also go for the same amount as yours. Actually if I could get that amount, even before 5 years I can be very sure that I will use it for diversed investments that can yield very big returns for me which make me a big fiat millionaire.

I honestly can't give my direct opinion for now yet,why? because there are a lot of factors that could affect the bitcoin economy and a .01 amount may give you a millions of $ but that certain 1000 btc also could only give you a hundreds of dollars and that does makes sense for me because a 5 year term is  a long one tho.

Well into 5 years we will be into the next halving price at 2020, with that said i do expect the price to reach 1000 dollars, besides that i do believe bitcoin will get a boost into the number of people around bitcoin community, soo into 5 years i do believe price will be around 1500 dollars, soo around 500-700 bitcoins would be enought to be milionaire.

this is what i'm thinking too, because when the price is going to increase with just 500 btc, i think it will make me a millionaire, but if the price is suddenly drop, the amount of 1000 btc can covered and help from the inflasion of the money.

It will depends on the price of bitcoin on that time, we do not know if the price would go higher or it will remain what price today. I think we need just to collect more bitcoin as we can do not limit your time to work in bitcoin.

It would really depend  on the   price of bitcoin  in  upcoming  5 years and also  it depends on the rate   of  price in your  currency. In  my country  on the current   price of bitcoin  i would be already  a  millionaire  on just having  50  bitcoins  on  my possesion  ,  how much more  on  500-1000 btc on next  5 years  for sure i would be  a  multi millionaire and would  live  in a  luxurious life  that   ive been dreaming of  but  it would still remain as a dream because  as we all know  that earning bitcoin is not an easy thing  to do  and  you would really need   to work hard.

5 years is definitely too long for me in my own country because of the value of our FIAT in relation to dollar even as at todaytoday with the value of Bitcoin, I only need like 5btc to be a millionaire but that does not mean it will now make me live as a millionaire in USA or United Kingdom as the case may be.

To become millionaire with maximum 100 bitcoins, we must need bitcoin prices at $10,000 levels. I guess  $10,000 price levels for one bitcoin will not be possible in next 5 years, maybe I go wrong with my speculations. Still, only with main stream adoption of bitcoins may get the levels.

I voted for more than 1000 because it's the only realistic number there! That's $1000 a bitcoin which would be about a 30% increase over 5 years. I see that happening but not a huge 10x increase.

You have a big dream, you should work hard for that. It primarily depend on the place where you live. In our place, I can be satisfied already even for 100 BTC in the future and i really hope I can get that working and venturing in opportunities here online.

To be a fiat millionaire in 5 years, i'll say we need to have 25-200 bitcoin. I said it since if bitcoin have gone into a good turn by 2020, one only need 25 bitcoins to be a fiat millionaire in 5 years. If it have just sit at a value triple or quadruple of what it is now, Id say one needs 200 bitcoin above to be a fiat millionaire by 2020-2021.

I'll take it slowly so I would start venturing into investment now. I believe since bitcoin is not stable yet, I can find a lot of opportunities here and I just have to take some risk so I can jump with opportunities that I can find. Some of my strategy is to invest in gambling sites and trading regularly.

Your second mentioned stategy seems good but I dont recommend investing in gambling sites since it gives low returns and if you play your money on gambling, it might get high returns but most probably you will lose you money. In my opinion one needs to have more than 500 bitcoin to be a fiat millionaire in the future since the price by 2020-2022 might only double the price now and not pump that hard as some speculated.

I think 200 bitcoin is not enough to make you a millionaire and for 5 years I don't think the price of bitcoin will reach $10,000. Let's assume that the price of bitcoin after 5 years will be $3,000. I guess 300-500 bitcoin is already enough to make yourself a bitcoin millionaire. But the question is how would you able to get that quantity?

price rising about 11x in 5 years is just too good to be true if it was from my opinion because honestly even gold which was states as a rare thing is still can't rising that far for its price especially bitcoin and if in 5 years there wil be released a digital money technology which even better than bitcoin it will become another problem for bitcoin to prevent its price from increasing

Reasonable is too assume that price will be between 1000 and 2000 $ for 5 years. After that calculation is simple, between 500 and 1000 bitcoins will make someone a fiat millionaire.
That is a safe bet in my gambler opinion, only surprise can be that price goes above 2000 $ in 5 years, well halving is for 4 who knows what can happen for 5.

Assuming the price of bitcoin reached 2000 USD in the next 5 years. Doing the math for 1m USD then ($2000/1BTC)*(xBTC/$1000000) =2000x/1000000 = 500 BTC.  So I think we need 500 BTC to be able to have 1 million USD in the next 5 years which I think very possible for BTC to reach 2000 USD due to adoption, update and upgrades of BTC.

The real catch must be how it could be sure that bitcoin will reach $2000 in next five years. In next five years bitcoin will have one more halving, so the demand will increase but people should not damp on seeing higher price levels.

You're probably looking at at LEAST that much if you want to become a fiat millionaire in 5-ish years. Maybe if you wait longer than that you can knock the total amount of Bitcoin required down but until then you're going to be looking at a fairly large volume due to the low value and jumpy market.

Me, if I can only successfully save at least 50 BTC a year I will be millionaire in 5 years. That's my dream and my goal now, we are not living in the same country and I tell with that amount in our country, I do not need to work anymore and will just focus on taking care of my family.

I assume there is no problem with bitcoin issues and regulations which stable increases every month, I think the possibilities price around $2500-$3000 in five years. We need 500-1000 to be fiat millionaire, it seems such a decent amount.

I think it doesn't depend on a country you live in. When we say "millionaire" we mean in US Dollars and not in any other currency, because that would be nonsense. Since we are here from around the world when we talk about money we talk about US Dollars for convenience.

Waiting five years is way longer than what I envisaged even as at now, with 5btc, I am already a millionaire and even a double one at that. You are correct, the volatility of bitcoin will dictate how much value of your bitcoin in your possession. It is hard to determine if after five years you still have the same amount or value of bitcoin that you have today. So for me I am no longer targeting to hold all of my bitcoins in my wallet since if the price goes down I will suffer the depreciation in value. So to be safe I am converting to cash 3/4 of my earned bitcoins and save 1/4 of it for future use.

5 years is nothing, most people in bitcoin are generally younger so they see hodling for 5 years as something they wont do.  In reality most people should just hold forever and spend it as bitcoin.  Market forces mean many will dump in the thousands cause they need to buy stuff to live.

i think for me i will say more than 1000 bitcoin and if the price is only $750 x 1000 bitcoin = $750,000 and its really a big money for me  ;D but there is no exact amount money that could make us millionaire and only us that will know how much bitcoin that could make us rich.

I counted that 500 bitcoin will be enough to me in five years. I believe to some bitcoin experts that promise 2000$ price for bitcoin after next halving in four years. At current price, I think that 20 BTC is enough to make me a fiat millionaire in my country as it will be more than a million here.

We can certainly rich that in the future, but it's going to be a long journey for bitcoin and with the journey we are going to experience a little shake up like the crisis and only the strong believer will receive the income to the extent of that amount, I hope I am one of those people.

From profits made due to the rush in price I made my initial investment back so decided to sell and cover it . I have already broke even and this is a zero risk investment and hopefully the best I will ever make.

You need to hold on to your coins, to get rich. Even I have sold the vast majority of my coins during the past few years (and I have lost a number of my coins to various scams). It is not easy. After sometime, you will lose your patience, and seriously consider selling all, or a part of your coin holdings. After all, there is no guarantee that BTC will give you 10,000% returns in 5 years.

Patience is what we need, our plan must be properly executed and we must focus on it, we are just human and it's hard to multitask so there are other investment opportunity that we need to sacrifice if that demands our time and effort. Assuming that we reach $5000 or even  maximum of $10,000 per bitcoin and you have two digit, maximum of 99 as post above mentioned, you will still fell short to $1 million in five years. That isn't going to be possible. Not to mention that $10,000 ATH is also a hard target, it isn't going to be hit in 5 years and if it does, we might experience a free fall again, just like what happened yesterday, and would need to rebuild the foundation again.

I was feeling like 5-10 is more than enough seeing the current situations. But clicked on 10-25 just to fulfill the weird behaviors of the bitcoin market. I guess that will make you a millionaire for sure. Some people say Satoshi is holding more than a million Bitcoins, so who knows..?

Let's say 10 bitcoins and up, yes that is much enough already for those countries. Mostly those countries are just minimum earners and even attain to live $1 a day. Yes, 1000 is a big big big amount if we compare and convert it to USD, but I believe  it is not so easy to earn 1000 bitcoin, I think to earn such a big amount of bitcoin you need to have some good investment, some good strategy and way of earning bitcoin and after that you can be able to earn 1000 BTC..

Yes possible, but usually I do consider US dollars alone for fiat millionaire for that we must need more than 1000 bitcoins with respect to current bitcoin prices. First you need to learn basics. Halving always make Bitcoin greater spikes in history, check previous halving price charts if you don't know. The bull run start before halving and make a new support in new highs after halving. This will probably the last important halving because total mined coins is already more than 16 million. theres some differences in fiats all over the world. here in my country you can be a millionaire if you got just 20 bitcoins. so earning for about the average of .8 per month will give .6 btc per month will give you a 20bitcoins per year. so it always depends. when youre in the united states of america it is much harder for you to earn your first million fiat using bitcoin.

EU and countries there will need a lot of bitcoins to be a millionaire while countries from Asia and other countries where fiat's value is lesser than US$ will need lesser amount of bitcoin to be a millionaire in their place.

At least a minimum of 100btc is required to make one a millionaire in terms of fiat. The count 100btc is a possible amount to be earned in 5years time.

I depends on what country you are in, if you are in the United States then you probably need at least 300 bitcoin to 500 bitcoin after 5 years to get a profit of  One million dollars. But in our country Philippines, One dollar is equivalent to 50 Philippine Peso then we will just need 20 bitcoins then we are already have One million pesos at hand. But its much better if I have 500 bitcoins rather than just 20 bitcoins if I can get it possibly.

It depends on the currency you use and the price of bitcoin at the time, since the currency of my country has a very low price compared to the dollar I don't need a crazy amount of bitcoin or for the price to skyrocket to be a millionaire in my country I will only need 25BTC for that to happen.

I my self is living in 3rd world country, All I could say is, assuming that the price of bitcoin was stagnant in $1000, I would only need also a little more than 20 bitcoins. But just to be sure about life, I think 50 is enough since after 5 years things around us will be changing and we might need more than 1 million, and we would be needing more to atleast survive without working, with that said, I think we should accumulate as many as we can.  :)

Obviously the more the merrier, if I got the amounts of money people have stated here they need to be millionaire in their countries, like hundreds of coins, then my future and the the future of my family will be guaranteed for the rest of our lives.

Yup, it depends upon the currency rate of country and bitcoin exchange rate. According to the growth rate of bitcoin as compare to economical rate of any country bitcoin rate is much greater which can make you a millionaire quicker than you will imagine. I think, in next 2 year bitcoin growth will rate exceed up to greater levels then no need to wait for 5 years working, you will be millionaire in just 2 year if you will be continuously working for bitcoins.

No one ever can sure about it. Because inflation of fiat might make cost of living into 10X times too. No one can predict even 10 million USD also will be enough for next generations as US dollars also might lose its buying power.

So according to the growth rate of about x4 each year, you will be able to be a millionaire from 1 bitcoin in 6 years.

I understand that but it is also nice to see how much bitcoin you need in your local currency, although 25 BTC does not seem like much, I could buy a decent house for that price right now and if we wait and the price keeps increasing I could buy an even bigger house with the same a mount of bitcoins.

Become Millionaire For 5 years, this is probably the dream of everyone, that's just the reality is quite different. Bitcoin today almost to be floating in the same position, and I'm not sure that the figures will change significantly over the five years. If we take the term, the price should be at least about $ 5k for btc. but I doubt that you can make as many bitcoin that such a short rows to get the status of a millionaire.

I would not have wanted to be a millionaire, do better using bitcoin to buy yourself a good life for them that is what I need most. This house and car and other nice things. And millionaire status I do not need.

If a bit to listen to the forecasts of experts in the field of bitcoin, already in the next years, bitcoin can growths and to $ 5-10k, although I very much doubt at very aggressively forward to such heights. That can become rich very quickly.

Half of that would be enough already, considering it's still five years from now. The progress will continue as we have started it this year, the recent price increase give a signal to people who are still in doubt and I would not be surprise if 5 years from now, these people are already adopting with bitcoin. Further, our prediction should be based on our capacity, if we cannot make that BTC100 in five years then we go lower than that and make sure it will satisfy our wants.

Let's do all sort of investments or ways that could give the amount we are hoping, think always that actions speaks louder than words and taking risks is our main weapon for success.

Right now, it is very difficult to imagine an exchange rate of more than $10,000 per coin for Bitcoin in 2020. So I assume that if someone is having BTC100 in his wallet, then he can become a millionaire, in fiat terms.

It is nice to plan for 5 years from now to be a millionaire by having bitcoins, I think if you have 100 bitcoins or more, then you have  a good chances to be a bitcoin millionaire as the chances of price appreciation is quite high. Keep collecting more bitcoins as and when you can.
