Anyway- an altcoin is an alternative coin to Bitcoin. Invest on mining hardware is not the most convenient. Only to give you an idea with 50GHZ you will get 0.0003 BTC on a pool mining with 0.075 TH/s 0.0004 BTC each day at these levels and falling ......... Before of do an investment you need read and read to minimize any loss. In the other hand I can not be sure if these minimum amounts could be worth in the future everyone should assess the risk. You should definitely search up some information on the Bitcoin Wiki. You might also want to search up some guides on how to mine altcoins and how altcoins work, before you come and ask this question here :) Title: Re: What is altcoin? I saw DEUR u can mine that coind with CPU, they also have some give away. U can try and i believe u dont have nothing to lose if u just try, maybe a little time and thats all. Also inform yourself about alt coin prices on some trade site.

You should research this subject on Google... Some of the algorithms of altcoins are different too. And yeah difficulty increased a lot to make it almost impossible to profit from BTC mining so Altcoin mining is probably the premier solution for now. |
