In addition to the "Press" board for "Notable press hits", we ought to have an "Actual Press" board, for "Actually notable press hits". In this new board, the following types of press hits shall be considered not sufficiently "actual":

• Blog posts from bloggers who are unknown outside the Bitcoin community.
• Press releases issued by companies that are unknown outside the Bitcoin community.
• Articles that are in no way related to Bitcoin save for the text "How does this affect Bitcoin? Haben sind gewesen gehabt haben geworden sein!" or words to that affect being appended as an afterthought.
• Articles from publications that are apparently funded entirely by their editorial staff posting links to their articles in the Press board with paid signature ads.
• Blog posts about press releases that are in no way related to Bitcoin by people with paid signature ads.

The creation of this new board will not substantially affect the operation of the existing Press board, as over 90% of posts in that section will still belong there. This new board will be of great utility to those looking for Bitcoin stories of sufficient actuality to be worth reading.
