Title: Is there a way to transfer wallet.dat into a lightweight client?
Post by: BTCHashers on December 10, 2012, 11:43:47 PM
So, a while ago my bitcoin wallet got messed up and it wasn't working properly. Anyway, I saved the wallet.dat file and deleted the rest as to reset the blockchain and anything else, hoping that it would solve the problem. So I was wondering if there was any way that I could somehow get my wallet working on multi bit without having to send bitcoins to that adress.

here are a few options you could try

blockchain.info wallet import

pywallet

Not directly.

As BTCoinWeb said you have to export and then import the private key
