Title: Maybe looking for cheap GPU U.K. E.U.
Post by: squall1066 on December 11, 2012, 11:41:55 AM
Hiya,

Had some cards go down recently, Did not get ROI on them, Seeing if anyone has a cheep 58xx or something stable that will see me over the new year, Just say what you got and what you want for it, I will get back to you. I will accept PCB's or faulty fans and the like, As long and the card is good.

Prefer ref fan might consider other's if cheap, Looking either pp varified or BTC trade.

This card can pull close to 500Mh/s+ for btc mining. And LTC mining you looking around 300 to 400Kh/s depening on setup of card and miner used.

Everything is in perfect working order with this card and if looking for playing games ull be able to max on all games.

Hi crazyearner, In OP I asked to post price, As 5870 have been going for £100 for 3 years now, And I will not pay that, I am looking for cards that have been ROI and people looking to rid them, As we all know mined cards don't last long, unless water cooled. Which brings me nicely to my next question, How do you get nearly 500MH/s from this? My farm is dominantly made up of 5870's running 900/300 getting 398/406MH/s? I'm guessing typo of 400.  :D Just let me know price inc delivery to mainland U.K. Cheers

No way to pull 500mh/s.
I also have some 5870 Vapor X and on 1000/300 i get about 450mh/s but it's inefficient for the electricity.
If it's on the water i don't know how many mh/s can pull, but i don't see here water cooling.

If you looked this is for both BTC and lite coin mining. Am pulling almost 500 so not their yet with it for BTC. In terms of LTC am pulling just over the 400 mark

cgminer --scrypt -w 256 -g 1 --thread-concurrency 8000 --intensity 16 --auto-fan --auto-gpu --gpu-engine 700-900,700-900, --gpu-memclock 1250,1250 --gpu-vddc 1.10,1.10 -o

http://xxx -u user -p 123 with that for LTC i pull 411Kh/s

This has only been used on and off for the last 3 to 4 months. This card has not been used solid ie 24/7 maybe 6 to 8 hours every few days. The card is less than 6 months old and still has a RMA on it for 2 half years remaining on it.

I will look at getting shipping prices for you when am off work next and get a price for it including shipping for you. Maybe 60 to 80 depending on shipping prices.
