Because old dev left coin....
and then we have new "dev" who start Fantom "takeover".
He make some hype to pump FNX, dump his coins and left
after 4 days.

We are here to stay and really support Fantom

I get exactly the same error, tried to sync again but it fails at block 290132 with the same error.

I got a same error too. Its because high RAM memory usage when wallet sync.

Wallet worked fine till 00.17 today.
I have more than enough memory, this must be something else.

I don't see any roadmap for the coin and the wallet... and why bounties only for the android and linux wallet? I don't remember watching translations of the ANNs on the other subforumes... Maybe i'm wrong but i hope the "third" dev will try to incentive even the translation of the ann and even find some way so the coin would be stable, and by the way, you already contacted yobit to get the coin listed? the first dev got blacklisted from blacksmith because of what he told about yobit (after all he didn't even contacted them for what camed out) and the second dev did the fatal error of leaving his yobit account open on a public computer and lost all the coins and instead of feeling guilt decided to give the fault to the website, let's hope that with the third dev something will change...

Anyway still i disagree that a coin can be considered dead only because there isn't a bootstrap, is almost the same as telling that a coin is dead because doesn't have a block explorer

We have synced wallet after takeover announcement, but today
we are forced to install it again.

But you understood that the second part wasn't refered to you but to tamara163? i know there is a block explorer i just wanted to make out an example and not a critic... Anyway let's hope that this new wave of hype is real and not like the first takeover which made zero difference from how it was before

You can at least choose the amount that does not stake and is available  to spend, under the Option menu under the main flag .

Is this coin dead?

This coin will most likely die because the dev just copy and paste and the code is not finnished yet. It should not take weeks to sync a wallet. This is not an coin to invest in and probably will not take off.

and let's even add the fact that the first dev given up without reasons and the first one who tried to make a takeover given up too giving as reasons conflict of interest and now i think we all agree we can add even this takeover as failed or maybe is another try to make hype and try to move the price a little bit

so at the end we have the second failed takeover... why he wanted that kind of trust if at the end he did the same of the first takeover but in this case without telling nothing? well, it was clear that this coin is going nowhere at the end....

Well i have to agree with what you told, at the end seems that the two who tried to make a takeover at the end used it only to make some random hype and sell their fantom.... who knows if a third takeover will arrive, there isn't two without three...

Well the payout will necesseraily be after, whoever does the takeover, can provide a better more stable wallet.

Yeah, this ALTmanagement at the end was only finding a way to sell his FNX at a higher price then the one at the time of the first failed takeover so we can even say that this coin now is owned by nobody and who knows what will happen next hoping that there will not be a third fake takeover

Can you post the block count you are on as well as what OS flavor you are on and if it is 32bit or 64bit?

We put this coin to "broken blockchain" status. If it will not be fixed by dev - it will be removed with no possibility to withdraw.

I was referred to this coin as it needs a dev and a revival.

Cool, this is what I so badly desire. It would be nice to invite more people to the party. And guys, u have to choose between two. Should it either be tor or i2p. Both have their cons and pros and are not interchangeable. U cant make the two come in handy just because they look nice together in ur OP.
