Title: Bitinstant & zipzap confirmed 36 hrs ago, no coins, nothing on Blockchain
Post by: Eddy on December 11, 2012, 09:31:41 PM
Yankee, you seem to be the man. Hoping you can look into an order I've been waiting a day and a half on. I have emailed support & filled out the form under your 'contact us' section.
This was my 2nd transaction with your service this last weekend, both of which were sent to the same bitcoin address... This may have caused the problem as I have read posts with similar scenarios on these forums.
The first one went through pretty much instantaneously, the second one has yet to show up on blockchain.
I completely respect that you're a busy man, probably still back logged from the weekend
I'm slightly hesitant to post the order ID in public so hopefully I can DM you after my first post
Have only heard good things about your company and I'm also aware that anomalies happen.
Any help and insight would be more than appreciated!

Hi there,

I'd be happy to help you out with your order. Can you please send me the email address you contacted our support with or just send your order information directly to rachel@bitinstant.com? As soon as I have your order info, I'll be able to pull up your transaction in our system and assist.

Rachel took care of me and it was definitely user/noober error. Sent it to mt.gox (default) rather than a bitcoin wallet. Rachel tracked it down for me and I am very much appreciative. Will definitely continue using bitinstant and will be double checking the drop down boxes from now on.

For future reference, BitInstant now has its own thread in the Newbie board for handling customer support requests:
