Sometimes I just really want to gamble because I miss the excitement, but I know should not do it, so I just play some games in demo mode with fake credits. After im done, I don't feel like risking real money anymore. This is a good technique to stop gambling in a stupid compulsory way.

This method looks good, but I personally gamble curiosity and usually always wins in front when I came back to play and Defeat, this makes me curious and looking for ways to win by making free trial. after feeling confident with my new experiment back to play with real money win in front then lost the next. This cycle makes people addicted to gambling  ;D

Not for me as I have good enough confidence in my self-control that I will only spend an affordable amount in gambling. I only use the free money mode to test the game, mainly to check if it is provably fair as it claims to be.

Nope... It feeds my urge instead.

If you really want to play demo mode than why can't you just play some video games? why do you need to play only gambling site games?

I think if you really want to stop gambling than you shouldn't play even demo mode also because after some time it may lead you to play with real money.

The Gambler must be able to control themselves and determine the target just spend a little money to gamble may be 5% of your income
if it loses stop and if  wins immediately  withdrawal repeat in the next week in the same way

I never played any demo games so for and I'm not interested play also.

Yes, sometimes it is very fun to gamble but i just can afford to lose money, so I play in demo mode,

even though it is not as thrilling as gambling with real money, but at least I got half of the excitement

with demo mode there is no excitement (atleast for me) and i dont have how you say Urge to play i just play for fun (even tho i risk money)
its still only a hobby :)

No, I don't. One of my friends does, and he was "winning" in demo mode with fun money that he put  in some BTC and lost it all.
So far I can control myself with gambling.

i play in demo mode sometimes and win but it won't stop me to try with the real money because play with real money it would be feel more excitement than play in demo mode although you can lost your money anytime

I sometimes play demo to get a feel of the gameplay, but it's not really the same as there isn't any excitement.

As for using it to quit, it could work for some people, but I feel that for some people, it would lead them to gamble more as they see how many fake credits they've won and try it for real with real money.

it's a good method, but for most people it will not work, for the gambler who has a hobby, it's not very influential, because they are already accustomed to using real money and they also use money from the gambling proceeds to continue their lives  ;D

its good but not all person can do that coz most gamblers prefer to have the thrill of playing with your own money, playing in demo mode doesnt give that much thrill specially when you are winning :)

Well, i rarely play demo mode with fake credits because i think it's kinda wasted your time. i'm gamble not because the excitement but because want more profit. but once i play demo just for fun and killing time.

Plating the demo mode still does not help as there is no such excitement and tension in the game which gives me the feeling while I am actually playing a real game. Demo mode also does not help you in getting mentally stronger this only makes you take unmanaged risky decisions in the real game.

Exactly... Because in the real game you're staking your real money that you need...

I usually play 5-10 mins in DEMO to know the UI and what the site is capable of.

Then - real money play :D Otherwise it's not fun.

But remember always to play with just the amount you are ready to lose.

Playing gambling in demo mode is just similar to playing video games. No difference in my view. To get rid of urge playing gambling I go for other activities. Trail accounts are not useful for my case.

So what is the point of gambling anyway if you only used demo mode with fake credits? You wont get nothing on it and you will waste your time by doing that. At least you can deposit a little amount to play it and try to control yourselves. May be 0.01 credit to try is not too much for trying some site after winning it just withdraw it. There is no need to stop gambling by doing demo play, you can stop it by yourselves if you can control it although you are using real money to play

You can do that, but don't believe you can win a lot in a real mode if you win a lot in demo mode unless you are super lucky, in demo mode, casinos set very high expected returns, they can set it over 100%, so it lures players to play in real mode(low expect return in real mode), and they win a lot in demo mode but lost money in real mode.

i never play out of demo money because it is very boring thing to do, if i come to a casino i only deposit my real bitcoins and gamble it all away usually without any profits because of that i sometimes try to avoid such games as they dont give me anything good

im very happy when the casinos have the demo mode for playing out of fake money and trying it out, after playing with it i usually dont want to play out of my real money as i loose every single cent that the website gives for trying the game out

I'm skeptical of these sites that our l purposely let you use a demo mode. You're just wasting their time, bandwidth and power to generate random seeds. I personally think these are rigged to make you feel you have a good chance,  when in reality, when you play with real money, you don't.

Or maybe it's just me, with extremely good luck on demos (I roll 0.01, the lowest number possible, first try) and horrible luck with the actual gambling (I lose 5 times in a row on a 90% win chance)

demo modes is only for the fake gamblers, as i am a real gambler i never play it and i deposit my money to a casino and play out of it, even though i dont win anything usually i at least do it in the real way how it should be and not doing the fake gambling

Not exactly fake gamblers as users who have no experience in gambling use the demo mode for a while till they actually start investing money. Not everyone starts gambling with real money and demo mode does help a person to plan their strategy and start real gambling.

i use demo is like for the sake of entertainment. i will max bet and den double it up like for 10 times. if i can win 10 in a row, i will have 2000x profit!!!! well altho it is not real but it is still nice to have that winning streak.

I'm glad it works with you. I don't really think I have a urge to gamble or anything like that. I do it regularly, specially on poker and sports betting but when for any reason I have to spend a long time without playing I don't face any problems with it.

One thing I can't do though, is to play with credits. Part of the fun in gambling for me, is the risk it carries, so If I remove that out of the equation it just loses "meaning" to me. I can sometimes play poker with friends without risking money, but only If they are new to the game, otherwise we just play with real money.

I play in demo mode each time before playing for real as a warming-up. Also, when I try a new game, I always play at least half an hour in demo mode to understand correctly how to play it.

I use 0 bet to play the demo at satoshimines, only a strategy to see where any bomb, :D

why are you saying so??? i am been looking at a lot of posts here and so far i think they r replying quite ok and not spamming. however, some campagin requires them to create a new thread and i have seen too many similar threads created.

It is really good tip and can be used successfully to get rid of addiction of gambling.I do agree by playing demo versions or playing for fun will satisfy your inner feeling and by and by you will stop using your own money.

I will say it the other way as this demo can arisen your gambling wish even much more than before.When you play demo and if keep winning sometimes if urges you too to go for real with real money to make something.I don't see it as a source to get rid of gambling at all.

I am not used to play with demo and I do not think it can be effective.People those who are gambling on different places will not try demo.Those who play just demo versions will begin to gamble for money instead.

yup, gambler will try to play with it but it just make u more addicted with gambling and you will soon feel that it is not that exciting to play with demo and want to despoit. it is just like the sale man give you a sample and never want you to buy. but after sample you will likely to buy from him.

yah i agree. those who gambler wont play with demo and those who wan to just try demo will end up trying using real cash. so demo actually attract more players instead of reducing it.

I used to play a lot in demo mode, but it doesn't help you to restrain from gambling at all. it you would probably make you play with real money. so it's better not to play at all in demo mode lol

Usually i play in demo mode to learn all the rules of the game.
When i win 3 times in a row, i know it's time to play with real money.

With some difficult games, i use to play in demo mode for a few days, just to know i 100% understand the game.

Same here, ever since I last gambled in real life which as result, it lead to me losing big amount, I never really gambled, specially online so the demo modes does come into scene of making it fun for sometimes to kill the boredom but at the end of the day, it's just another dream

No this is actually very dangerious. Because usually most people make money on demo mode and then they get false hope and play with real live money thinking they can get the same results as in demo.

Yeah it's good right, to have to simulate the game without directly losing money.
It should be mandatory for every user to play a game first in demo mode.

I always play in demo mode too. Sometimes i play the whole day in demo mode.

Quite intresting tips for the gamblers and dice addicts. But the feeling is completely different in demo and real mood. But after getting some high win in real switching over demo mode can save your money.

No way! Demo mode is the main reasons I get attracted to play with the real money and probably is there for the same reason just like faucets .If you ever feel demo mode will help you out with the urges,you're wrong.Does no good.

I never play in demo mode and I didn't know people have the urge to play or to gamble just for the sake of it, I thought people that get addicted do it for the money not for the game itself.

I sometime play in demo mode, but after a few rounds i am ready for some real action.
Offcourse it is nice to play some games for gigs, but action is better for me.

That crossed my mind a long time ago but that is not the best thing to do for me. If you want to gamble and you don't have funds then don't gamble and either go for a walk/run or something fun with friends.
Don't waste your time on demo games as most of the time they will let you win and get you excited until you borrow money and go play for real and lose.

demos can be a reason to get hoocked in gambling if you win in demo mode you will directly go to start gambling so demo is a way to lure people into gambling

I only play demo mode/play money if I want to test out the site and see if I like it. Otherwise, it isn't real gambling and thus, a waste of my time. I'd rather surf internet porn.

I can't play with fake money, so it would do me no good. The only reason I like gambling is because I'm risking something, otherwise I would play a game with a good story or graphics or strategy etc.
I could play poker with credits, but I see that every time I do that, people there don't take the game very serious because they are not risking anything and the game gets ruined.

I also never play the demo mode, I also don't play free poker apps or games. To me there is simply no excitement/fun when not risking any money. I love poker but without money on it, it is just boring. What someone else said that winning on a demo gives people a false hopes, I can see how that would be true for some.

yah, some ppl dont like to play with no money involved. just like mahjong where i play with my friends. some of them definitely must play money but a lot of us prefer to just play with chips and train our skills a bit.

Gambling without money is a waste of your time. No actual risk involved, and no profit. Just seeing a green number makes you feel happy, even if you are still in debt.

And if you just happen to make a big win, and don't actually make any profit, you'd get an idea in your head that you could make that big win again. And then you get into gambling with things of real monetary value.

In my opinion, demo mode encourages you to gamble.

ive been playing demo mode but its a lot different from real money play.
how you can afford to risk a bet with a real money wont be the same as you are playing a practice game.

Demo mode can be a dumb idea. Maybe you will double your fun money and then think "Maybe I can make bitcoin with this..."
Then you will deposit bitcoin, and lose it all. I only use demo mode when I want to try a game out .

Exactly, new people may not interested to start the gambling because they might have read many places gambling is not good and it will ruin the life. But when there is a demo mode available than those people thinks that they are not really gambling so they will play but after some time if not all but many people will become a real gamblers.

Actualy this is somewhat how I started... I won 1 BTC in the bitcoin video casino slots, I thought "damn, this is not that hard, I got 1 BTC the first time!" but then of course, with real money I was out of money in the first 5 spins, amazing! I was mad and thought it was rigged.

This is the trap most of the casino's do. I still believe in demo games there strategy is completely different from actual games. In demo games they will allow you to win most of the time but with real money they will make sure they will win at the end. So gamble carefully and do not fall on these traps and also use good trusted sites to gamble.

I feel that urge to sometimes.
But when i try just playing demo coins or fake credits.
It doesnt feel good. or it isnt just right for me.
I just feel like its im just gambling in the air.
The excitement and the feeling is really not the same when betting real time.

I know, it's just not the same, it's like having sex with 10 condoms on or something, it's better than nothing but it's lacking something. I guess the people are really addicted to gambling will not have enough with some demo fun.

Its not that,im really addicted in gambling this days.
But You know the feeling when playing real credits.
The nervousness you felt while betting, and the feeling when you won.
It cant be replaced. while playing demo. cant even feel nervous or even if you won. nothing fun at all.

Yeah I am familiar with those feelings. I was at some point gambling in stupid ways and learned the lesson the hard way, nowadays im never going to risk BTC, im going to save as much as possible for the long term, and only start gambling again once im confident with my stack which can never go too low.
