This is gonna come off as a bit odd but id like to see if theres anyone in the community willing to help with 2 things. Im sure youve all read the whole mess with master-P and with that happening i currently have 3 campaigns that will not be paid out. Is that your problem? Well no its not your problem at all, but if i can get someone to create an escrow address(preferrably dooglus or someone of his stature) and if any of you guys could donate some coin to the address that would be a great showing from the community.
The 3 campaigns total 2.48btc needing to be paid out in the next week or so, but ive posted in the campaign threads to let users know theyre most likely not getting paid and gave links to the master-P situation. Im hoping to raise 1.24btc so each of these users may receive half the pay for their work. As stated above no its not anyones responsibilty to help this cause and i dont blame anyone if they dont wanna help at all. I would give more but i sold all my funds to the master-P fraud and my 1.5btc i had saved is now gone. The owners of these companies paid for a service that theyre obviously not gonna get now and id like to at least get them some kind of exposure for their money. This way it will not cost Theymos anything directly, donors get advertising in return for helping with the bailout and everyone wins :-) Which is sort of the entire concept behind the DONATE MEDIA non-profit idea we have going (once approved by the IRS that is) Shameless plug I know...LOL Sorry I couldn't help myself :-) @Theymos if you're reading this also, I'll make sure you get donation receipts from DONATE MEDIA once we're approved by the IRS for whatever amount in advertising space it would cost you. So at the very least you'll get a write-off for the space donated towards this bailout. We should have all the paperwork into the IRS for final approval within the next 5-7 business days. The Tax ID for the DONATE MEDIA non-profit has already been acquired (I can send that to you if you'd like) and Incorporation papers have been sent into the state, once the corporation papers are "officially filed"? We then send the complete package into the IRS for final approval of non-profit status. Anyway this is just an idea guys, I hope all those involved in this mess receive their funds back. They are there to help clean up spam, help users that might have been locked out and try to keep the forum itself running. If admins were to get involved in things it could lead to a heated debate, like between two parties. They do not need that stress. That's why a lot of the community tries to call out scammers. Hedgy usually tries to help newbies in the goods section to help get their products sold, or help find the scammers. Scam-alert usually gives me a chuckle with his checklist of scammer things. I wore the signature for at least a good week before even hearing about this. While I do feel bad for the campaign owners and it's moderator, I see no need for me wearing it another week for free.
