Title: Bitcoin of Trust [New]
Post by: ttyler333 on June 07, 2011, 05:13:10 PM
Hello, so i was reading up on the scammers list and figured "Hey i can make a site that'd be useful to a lot of people".

So Here it is  http://bitcointrust.us/ (http://bitcointrust.us/).

Adding Sites is currently being worked on!
To Do's.
  • Finish Website Listings
  • Multi paged display
  • Flood Protection
  • IP management (bans)
  • Graphical additions
  • Faster Approval's.
  • Report Things (Racism, or some other harsh things)

One thing i ask in return is people help spread the word, add users, and leave reviews.

You can also tell me what i need to do to improve by going to "Site Review".

Didn't know that existed and to be honest mine was made in 4 hours (late last night) and it still looks better. That looks like maybe 5 mins worth. Mine also allows for trusted sites. Soon to be more features. You'll see today or tomorrow.

What's stopping me from adding myself and rating myself hundreds of times?

1. A simple "Select * from database WHERE ip='Insert your IP'" Would simply remove that, i can ban or mute you. Bans would block you from site, mutes would just stop from contributing anything... Also go ahead, you wont see it..

I could use a proxy though.

Sure, I could do the same thing on otc, but it would require a LOT more effort.

Fyi, I'm not trying to badmouth your site or anything, but this is something that should be worked on. If I was about to scam someone of, say, 1,000BTC, I could go on your site, give myself an insanely high rating, and before you'd realize that it was inflated, I could give the link to the person I'm scamming and get my coins.

Flood protection is going into place... SQL Injections are automatically ban'able...  What do you want.. . accounts? I see that as being pointless...

At the moment all additions are hand processed so it'll stop people from doing anything drastic. Once automation is turned on the fore mentioned flood protection easily would kick in.

Let me direct you to my first post, it says "To Do's.."
