Title: Looking to Advertise gaming site
Post by: huskypower2015 on December 30, 2015, 12:51:26 AM
I have a simple gaming site tied to the moneypot gambling wallet. The site is a simple card game script and I am in need to punter for my site. What ways can I get gamblers to play my site?

If you are a service provider, please post here what you can do for me

If you are a BCT user and would like to offer advise (a very altruistic thing of you!), suggestions would be great!

You should open a signature campaign on this forum, or bid on the weekly adverts on this forum ;)

Could you be so kind as to point me to where I could go about this?

I imagine Theymos has an area around this forum concerning bidders for banners?

And Sig Camps. Not familiar with those.

A signature campaign is where you pay users to post on the forum while wearing your signature/links to your site, like the one I'm wearing now. Check out this thread, there are tons of signature campaigns going on right now, it'll give you an idea of how they work. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=615953.0
Also I would suggest you start promoting your site on Twitter, if you haven't already.

Weekly advertisements is in the "Auctions" section.
You can create & find signature campaigns in the services section but I believe you need to escrow the funds because no one will trust you to pay.

I can make you a bunch of social media accounts and manage them for your promotion.
As well as an account at Papewall.com

One technique I've seen used about two or three times, is offering to double the deposit of the 10 - 20 first users, no restrictions, and cap it at like .005 BTC or .01. People deposit, a few minority will just get their free .005 and leave, a bunch of others will gamble it all to 0. And there you have your first dedicated user if your website is good and catchy. Add that to a good signature campaign like other users said, and you'll build yourself a nice clean player base in a few months.

You can use ad platform, like bitmedia.io or mellowads.com  (there are plenty of therm, jut check deeply this forum section) but you need to have a set of banners ready.
Mellowads has a faucet, so actuly you can try how this works for free

others to check: adbit, adalso, eadsy.net, Adbtc.info ...
