Title: Internet Archive, 3-1 match right now, accepts bitcoin Post by: Melbustus on December 14, 2012, 08:06:28 PM As I'm sure most know, the Internet Archive accepts bitcoin donations. They're currently having a 3-1 match drive right now. I emailed them asking if that applies to bitcoin donations too, and they said that it *does* (email pasted below). So, this seems potentially a good time to show that bitcoin donations can be meaningful to an organization. And who doesn't like the wayback machine?

Yeah, I also appreciate the wayback machine. Is also useful sometimes when replacing rotten/broken links on wikipedia. Now that webcitation.org is going down it seems the wayback machine will be the best way to keep wikipedia links from link rot (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Link_rot).
