Title: User: funkydog - Took $200 BTC and bailed! Post by: buckeyez on December 30, 2015, 02:28:04 AM I posted negative feedback to his TRUST. In short, he replied to my post and I PM'd him and it continued from there. I was trying to build up reputation as I am new. So I sent the transaction via BTC first. He said he would then send via PayPal. Have yet to recieved anything, and he has gone offline, when he was originally very prompt throughout the discussion. Below are images for proof of transaction.

You should probably wait a few more hours, he might just pop up and give you his PP ;) Title: Re: User: funkydog - Took $200 BTC and bailed! Post by: Timelord2067 on December 30, 2015, 02:52:19 AM To add to your tale of woes, you appear to have used a BitCoin Mixer, so there's no way to prove you sent the funds, only his receiving address.

Post by: sakinaka on December 30, 2015, 03:37:22 AM are you guys autistic? it was sa paypal deal, an escrow would be useless unless they held the funds for 180 days untill sender cannot chargeback Wouldnt it still be better though? At least he'll get his hand on the PP funds, unlike now he just gets scammed blatantly. Title: Re: User: funkydog - Took $200 BTC and bailed! Post by: rikugou on December 30, 2015, 03:39:28 AM to be honest, i thought his 2014 account with multiple trust feedbacks was worth more than 75$.. didnt knwo people were that pitiful for 75$

Shame on him. he turned out to be a scammer for just $200, If ever I get to scam people, I probably would do it with about 500K+ USD. Its not about not getting caught, it about shame for yourself scamming for such a small amount. But i suspect returning that $200 is much more than losing a meal. Title: Re: User: funkydog - Took $200 BTC and bailed! Post by: Timelord2067 on December 30, 2015, 04:07:37 AM I'm going to add GiocareHost to the list of possible Alt's with TV streaming services https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1163734.0 topic started August 28th 2015 while funkydog's account was started 27th August 2015

Thank you for all your help, instilling that the community can still be trusted even though there are bad seeds. I don't think I will venture into this aspect of business again, I will just stick to mining and playing the market. Title: Re: User: funkydog - Took $200 BTC and bailed! Post by: Timelord2067 on December 30, 2015, 04:47:03 AM Funkydog should be given negative trust from DT right now. Otherwise he'll continue to scam people who has no knowledge of his previous behavior... I think if multiple users post negative trust it both highlights the trust abuse and hopefully a DT will come across one of the feedbacks. TTFN - Happy Newd Year. :P Title: Re: User: funkydog - Took $200 BTC and bailed! Post by: Odien on December 30, 2015, 04:50:31 AM Damn... sorry for your loss. You can't do anything now except to be cautious next time. Not for nothing, but in the global currency world that bitcoin inhabits, this is a lot for a lot of people. Hopefully OP can afford to lose this and hopefully he won't be as stupid with his money next time. No offense OP, but that was indeed a stupid move.Shame on him. he turned out to be a scammer for just $200<snip> Title: Re: User: funkydog - Took $200 BTC and bailed! It is something, that being said, I should still be fine for the month. I agree, it went against all sense, I was just too eager to prove myself and earn that trust. Hopefully others can learn from my mistake. Title: Re: User: funkydog - Took $200 BTC and bailed! Post by: target on December 30, 2015, 05:59:03 AM sorry for the loss. you might wanna do it with someone reputable instead. one way to do it is checking the threads on services, there are users who regularly trade paypal with bitcoins.
don't create a thread because scammers will pm you asking you to go first but checking their trust will reveal accusations of the past. just days ago, I created a thread that I need a paypal funds and lots of them PMed me.
