Title: Buy Anything in Korea with Bitcoin with New Korean Buying Service - KoreanBuddy
Post by: medicine on December 30, 2015, 07:42:37 AM
Hello Bitcoin community. I am pre-launching a Korean shopping agent service, “Koreanbuddy.” http://Koreanbuddy.com
The shopper tells us what they want and pays us directly, we go out and buy the products ans ship them to the shopper. Want something from Korea?
And as your KoreanBuddy I'm offering "no fees" on your first order! And we take Bitcoin of course.

Why use KoreanBuddy?
Korean sites have great deals and product selection but are extremely difficult to use as a foreigner, trust me I’m starting this service because of personal experience.
Now you don’t have to be frustrated, only happy.
You can get help from the many shopping guides on our site which give step-by-step instructions on how to find products on various popular sites here in Korea. If someone here wants us to create a shopping guide on another website, just ask.
Anyone can message us here or through the messenger on koreanbuddy.com and we will get back to you ASAP, remember that we are on Korean time though ;)
Also, if you like making your own shopping lists you can upload your own excel file on the site or just email it to us ;)

How do you get the products?
If you want the product quickly 3-5 days? Then EMS (express). If you want to save money and can wait 10-14 days, then regular Korean Post. You can checkout the FAQ section for more.

How much will it cost you?
For your first order it’s free!
Later on 10% if you provide the URL of the items you want, and 20% if you don’t have a URL or it’s an in-store purchase.
If you pay in bitcoin you get 50% off on fees. So 5% with URL 10% without.

About us
I am a Canadian who has been living in Korea for 4 years. I am an organizer of the Seoul Bitcoin Meetup and I write those monthly meetup growth reports. My partner is Korean and we both are bitcoiners.

Please send any comments and suggestions.
Thanks!

As your KoreanBuddy I'm offering "no fees" on your first order. http://koreanbuddy.com BTC

is it just my impression or are all your buying tips women-oriented? (well, in our Korean class 95% of the people were girls, I cannot complain ;D), also, in the shipping costs table I see it only goes up to 2000 g, am I looking at the wrong place or do they only ship stuff up to 2 kg?

Once I saw cheap shoes in a Korean online store, would the shipping costs make it worth? (to South America). Someone who went to the US bought a pair of shoes for me (shoes and clothes there are cheap compared to our local stores, but shipping costs make it more expensive), so I am not interested at the moment, but may be interested in the near future (and hence, I am interested in that information).

Between, your site looks nice and clean.

OT: Considering you frequently host Bitcoin meetings at Seoul, why is the Korean subforum so lonely?
Your feedback is quite valuable, I think I have linked the wrong page for regular mail.  Let me change that...ok done.  South America is Zone 4 on the charts.  I think up to 30Kg is no problem.

Yes, at the moment I can also see the site is a little geared towards women, I am planning to split it up into specific categories like Kpop, costmetics, fashion, children's fashion, tickets etc.

Koreans don't use this website ya.  There are a few groups on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/groups/bitcoinkorea/ and https://www.facebook.com/groups/359243667542297/ and also a local forum http://www.ddengle.com/ with around 9000 users.

The meetup is somewhat popular too.
