Title: Looking for pentester/hacker $200 BTC Reward
Post by: btc-raffle.com on January 01, 2016, 08:05:57 AM
I would like someone to test my website for any exploits that could allow someone to withdraw more BTC then they have in their account.

The sites wallet has $200 in BTC in it atm.

So if you are able to hack the withdraw system you will get $200.

I can prove i own this website, and no action will be taken for any attempt. I fully authorize anyone to help test the site.

Maybe you should publish the website on here, A few people might give it a try that way instead of just 1 individual. Would give you a better idea of how secure it was.

Usually a pen test is done regardless of results, you pay for the time and knowledge, not a guarantee of finding any exploits.

This is true - pentesting is, in most situations, paid for regardless of results.

If you, by any chance, decide to do what we've told you, make sure you use an escrow when you claim that you'll reward the one.

I would be glad to perform these tests and provide a full report of findings, but as the others have stated this would be consodered a flat-rate job regardless of the results.

Yeah, he wants you to break into someones wallet that is not his. He is just essentially asking someone to be a bank robber. Remember the beginning of The dark knight when the joker hired all those other robbers just to off them and ride away scott free  ::)
You will be one of those dummies while he will be the joker  :D

tl;dr is OP either wants someone to pentest his site for free with no real proof there is actually $200 there. Or it is what was previously discussed in the thread, an elaborate scam attempt.

Any serious pentester will look elsewhere, I know I will. Legitimate site owners can provide a gpg signed message on their site as proof of ownership.
