Title: Antminer S3 ASIC issues Post by: BigFun on January 01, 2016, 09:01:17 AM Hello fellow miners!
I'm a neophyte to this hobby but am a quick learner. Need a bit of help please. I bought two used S3+'s and both of them have all of the ASICs on chain one disabled. Is this normal for this model, I don't think so. Thoughts? Title: Re: Antminer S3 ASIC issues Post by: VirosaGITS on January 01, 2016, 07:11:36 PM Hello fellow miners! Since both of them are having the same problem, my best guess if you plugged only 2 PCI-e of one board and the 2 PCI-e of the other boards unplugged. That fixed it on both units, thank you for taking your time to respond to my post. I plugged in all four 6-pin connectors and all ASICs were happy. Weird, I thought you were supposed to be able to just plug in two per S3 (if not overclocking) but whatever works. |
