Title: Non Reference Sapphire 6950 2GB Unlock? Post by: TheGer on June 07, 2011, 06:50:08 PM I've discovered that my 6950 cards are not the standard reference cards with the BIOS switch. Has anyone had experience using a modified 6950 BIOS that worked on a card like this? If so can you educate me or point me in the right direction?

From what I can tell there seems to be some benefits to overclocking after flashing with the 6970 BIOS. I've read that some people have been able to obtain higher clock speeds than with the stock 6950 BIOS.

They simply will not accept overwriting the BIOS. "Cannot Erase ROM"
