I'm not sure about you guys but I'm excited about OpenBazaar , Zapchain sounds like a cool idea too even if I don't have much information's about it .
So what about you ?  ???

Block halving mostly...

Also 666+666+666+6+6+6 and 1024+512+256+128+64+32 both equal to 2016. So it has to be an awesome year ;D

I was speaking about businesses that are going to launch (see link above) but I suppose block halving counts too .
(whatever that calculation means :o )

Oh, about the businesses, definetly OpenBazaar. It's going to be excellent. I just hope they do it securely and deal well with scamming.
And the calculations are just something random I've found, subliminal shit for sure :D

Don't the zapchain is already in operation, i have also one account there but haven't used it much.

I think there will be much more scam using bitcoin in upcoming as it is becoming popular and almost all hyip have started accepting it.
Also there can be some hack attempts to popular bitcoin related site, as hacker are also being interested in getting bitcoin.

OpenBazaar should be killer app in my opinion. Bitcoin need project like that to help widespread addoption. Btw, i was hoping to see some decentralised exchanges take off by now but hope 2016 will bring some projects on that base.

we are still stuck at 3M users apparently, i want to see this reaching 10M for this year or even more, then the value will naturally become good, because of this

the think which you are telling is always going to happen , this scam and hacking is a part of life now, even in fiat currency so many scams and online sites are getting hacked, so its not new,

ya but openbazaar, and zapchanin are good concept which will give more boost to the bitcoin industry in the coming days.

I am excited more about halving of blocks because it will give solid stability to current prices of Bitcoin.Although I also expect some increase in price just like everyone but more I would like to see stable price which will be over 400 $.I am so excited that can't wait to happen the halving done.

2016 is going to be an exciting year for bitcoin it will be the bitcoin year ,hopefully it's success will carry the other coins I read one article that bitcoin could hit the $1000 mark I am seeing and reading a lot of bitcoin start  up and many companies accepting bitcoin and offline many atm about bitcoin are mushrooming around the globe,

excited:
1. overstocks new exchange t0
2. winklevi trust (hopefully they get it done this year)
3. openbazaar, as long as it makes sellers deposit collateral to not just run off with peoples funds, also only sells legit products to avoid bad rep (like silkroad)
4. more development of every area of the bitcoin ecosystem, including training, courses, guides, retailer adoption and fiat exchange availability
5. reward halving impacting the fiat valuation (deflationary price rise)

cautious:
1. blockstreams 'liquid' is a hybrid of what bitinstant done in 2012-13.. were liquid will effectively hold the reserves of the exchanges, allowing users to arbitrage liquids between the exchanges as oppose (well to supposedly represent) btc
id watch out for that as liquid could end up hoarding a whole lot of bitcoins while people arbitrage using liquidcoins which are supposedly pegged at 1for1btc.
2. dev teams putting in silly code just for a bit of fame without thinking about users or end results.
 
so id be cautious about them

I am just hoping that in 2016 open bazaar will be operate, it will be very convenient to shop online if that happen

For me it's purely the block halving that I am excited about. OpenBazaar as well, but not as much as the block halving.

I expect more users of bitcoin, more startups investing in bitcoin and creating apps to work with bitcoin. I would like an increase of bitcoin price with the halving. And I think that openbazaar could be a win-win about bitcoin market.

As far as I know none of the previous block halvings did not bring price increase, on the contrary after every halving price went down - and we had bitcoin and litecoin halving before.
I would be very careful about expecting different result this time.

Definitely the bitcoin halving, it is the most interesting thing in 2016. For the openbazaar i heard it will be launched in December 2015 but I didn't happen, did they fix a date or still pending? Anyway I think it deserve a try  :)

What is openbazaar?i never hears about it,and siund interesting,i never open my zapchain again since the reward is more little :D i just existed about bitciin halving on this year,what do you think about that??

I don't expect much from new services. I'd rather see old, successful and established services, such as Fiverr, Upwork or Amazon, accepting BTC.
I like the idea of Openbazaar, though, and I may join it as a professional but it would take years before it will gain success.

I am excited that more and more larger companies are accepting Bitcoin now and there will be much more in the 2016 year.  The more companies that accept it, the more it will be worth.  Cant complain about that!!

winklevoss bitcoin trust is something i look forward to and also the comming block halving. 2016 will be a very interesting year.

i am existed about Zapchain,social media based bitcoin ;D and i'm already have account there,cool site and many expert people there,this is why i love zapchain : From what i have seen of Zapchain, though, its ability to curb spammers has proved effective and the platform is currently more popular than ever.

The halvign will be great, I expect an insane price pump, im also looking forward to see how the scaling thing works, hopefully with a blocksize that is small enough to keep Bitcoin decentralized from evil.

Ive been waiting for open bazaar for what seems like ages now, so looking forward to actually using it when its finally released. Also looking forward to see what happens after the halfing. Should be exciting times.

I am also in the same boat as you.  I have been reading about it for some time and I am excited about the launch.  I am also looking forward to the price increase as bitcoin is evolved into more retail businesses in 2016.  Lots of fun things to look forward to.

Yes, zapchain is great. I frequently went there. It offers some satoshi for sharing my ideas. It will attract more using and will be able to compete with reddit.

Another shout out for Open Bazaar. I think it's one of those things that we'll only realise how big a deal it is somewhat in retrospect. It's going to take a while to get rolling but there's a whole world of commerce out there ready to go online that's currently held down by the restrictions of conventional banking.

At this point there is not much that excites me beside the halving. All other things that will be released/announced that are good for Bitcoin are considered to be a nice bonus.

I was wondering by "existed" you meant "excited". I'm not excited for anything. I just want money and Peace in my life is all.

I am first existed about the halving of the bitcoins and do believe that this round and year it will work best for me. Another thing I am excited of is the feeling that i will be able to gain more in terms of the coins I have invested. It is a feeling I have been having from the first day of 2016 ad my prayer is that I will see it actualized. I am exicited at the fact that bitcoin will grow despite the shortfalls it has been having especially in 2016.

I'm really excited about the block halving, I'll probably be staring at the markets during the upcoming halving day event.

Fiverr already accepts BTCBTCBTC, and as far as I know you can use BTCBTCBTC to buy from Amazon using Purse. What's gonna make the BTC industry big is if you can accept BTC using your Paypal account. Only then true acceptance would be achieved.

I think that OpenBazaar will be a really good application. It is pretty much eBay, except for Bitcoin users. That is the best idea I have ever heard.... I am pretty sure that it's just a copy of purse.io. Lol. Zapchain might also be decent, but OpenBazaar is the best out of those five. On a completely unrelated note, I am also looking forward to Bitcoin halving.

I am excited about the big thing that will happen this year that no-one has thought about or knows about, except the people creating the news.
ie. not openbazaar or halving, which are great but are semi-factored in already
in this 12 months ahead there will be a something which will happen which will be he stand out news for bitcoin.
it would be great if it happens in the first quarter  ;D

This could really mean a big step towards mass adoption.

Altough not all details are clear nor the impact of the bitcoin eco-system, plans and idea's like this are why I am excited with bitcoin.

The halving & the bitcoin price as a result of it.

I think this year we will see more merchants accepting bitcoin.
If this can achieved we can expect a lot of good things from there. Especially in regards to the price.
