You probably are thinking of the service that Spend Bitcoins used to provide. If I remember correctly, you set up a cart at a site that povides online shopping and then Spend Bitcoins would pay the amount due, after you've paid in bitcoins. They are no longer offering that service but are still doing exchange: - http://www.SpendBitcoins.com There was another service that would have agents who would order your item for you and ship it to you.
