Title: Bitcoin wallet implementation for Commodore 64
Post by: daniel.nimtsch on January 03, 2016, 08:54:08 PM
One of my first computers was an Commodore 64 (C64). I still love the small and minimalist appoach of this computer. If you want to get all out of the hardware you have to develop programs in Assembler (machine code).

Does anybody know if a Bitcoin wallet software exist for the C64?

Not a full node implementation of course. But maybe a SVP node or an Electrum implementation using ramdisk extensions?

Thank you very much!

never heard of such a piece of software for C64. remember my C64 too. it was a great "Brotkasten"!

could this be a starting point somehow?

EDIT: C65 (MEGA65) is coming in 2016. not such a bad idea to have a Bitcoin wallet for C64.

I love this soundtrack (it's very special and not like most of the other C64 soundtracks):
