Title: Default client IO Post by: rupy on December 18, 2012, 11:05:46 PM The other day my servers HDD light was lit up like a Christmas tree, and since I have a SSD, I found bitcoin to be the problem and nuked it... which resulted in an error being thrown, I use an old client so this has probably been fixed already, but why is the adding of blocks so IO intensive?
