Title: [SOLVED] Receiving addresses and watching-only wallet Post by: andreas-h on January 05, 2016, 12:35:17 PM I set up a watching-only wallet as described in the Electrum docs. Now, when I open the watching-only version of my wallet, I do not see any receiving addresses.
1. Is there a way to transfer (ex-/import) receiving addresses from my offline wallet to my online watching-only wallet? 2. I always thought that in deterministic wallet like Electrum, receiving addresses would be generated deterministically from the master public key. Is this wrong? If it's not wrong, why doesn't Electrum display receiving addresses in my watching-only wallet? Did you create the wallet with the master public key?
