If it repeats than we may see price near new ath only by 1 years from halving as 1000+ was after 1 years of first halving on 2012. $20000 seems to be more than imaginable.

Well ... results from the past don't offer any guarantees for the future. Though such a scenario could certainly happen as it is actually less 'extreme' than the rise from ~$14 to ~$1100 in 2013. Couldn't hurt anyway to hoard a buch of coins even at todays prices, unless bought from a loan or sold kidneys  ;)

I can imagine but imagine is not enough. Cannot bring such prices in so short time. Even from bitcoin can be waited everything I don't think that this graphic has something real in the forecast of prices in the next two- three years. I hope with all myself to be wrong but I'm afraid that we are going to far very easy and fast. Anyhow, let see what will happen. Two - three years are nothing and passe fast. I can tell only that even the price will be half of that previsions I will be more than amazed.

All last year we were in a cycle that went between 200 and 300. I thought history would repeat again before the last pump, and that we'd go back down to 200 instead of up to 500. Anything can happen, and it's right to keep your mind open instead of relying on results from the past ensuring results for the future.

Anything can happen with bitcoin, history can repeat it self or a new history will be made. Bitcoin is very unpredictable, nobody can tell for sure what will happen with bitcoin at this point.

dunno, but i'm estimating at least a new ath before the halving as a unstable new peak, than it can be dumped to below 1200 in no time, but i see a clear window for it in 7 months

For now bitcoin has to pass  520$ breaktrough level and defend that level,but if Alibaba will accept btc,than everything may happen,however we can imagine btc price  2000$ 20000$ etc,now it is just imagination

i can imagine that and hope the history will repeat again but unfortunately it is difficult to be realized in the near future but i won't stop hoping that bitcoin will reach in that price

Don't know why but since a few days, from one moment to the other, I get the feeling that we could become disappointed regarding price this year. Each time I have this feeling I shake myself like a dog and say " No, all will be fine". :D

If you actually bother to think about it, the block size is irrelevant to central banking. If not Bitcoin, there will be an alt with an uncapped block size. Both will exist, and the market will choose. Central bankers will be fucked either way. This debate only matters to Bitcoiners. Cryptocurrency fans win either way.

I came back briefly to see what is going on, and now I'll be gone again.

We hope that the bitcoin history will be repeated this year, maybe before and after the halving period.
Most of the people will be happy of course, unless those who sold cheap :(

No I don't imagine that.Because it's crap what you are saying.
Litecoin will never surpass Bitcoin! And regarding Blocksize we will see encouraging solutions!

I can see it on dreams, and i want it but we need a lot of new users buying bitcoins to climb to those prices. I don't see this higher levels for this year. But if it reach these levels i will be very happy with my bitcoins.

Not in dreams, it's going to happen in real. I believe the testing of $1000 levels will bring new users into bitcoin ecosystem which will get done the rest of work automatically. Only the initial push matters. I always believe in exponential growth of bitcoin prices, which had happened so far. So, in future also.

If it repeats so we will see a 1000 dollars again I bet a lot of people will just sell there bitcoin.
We will if this year will be awesome as in 2013 in November. I am looking forward to it.

well the instability of bitcoin is clear, look an entire year in negative, after a huge positive year and another positive year after that

this year should be positive too, unless you assume a sinusoidal trend, with + and - after it...

It shows how small bitcoin market cap still is. When bitcoin is a few magnitudes bigger it will also be much less volitile. Until then enjoy the rollercoaster ride
